Something unexpected

While I was strolling, the other day I realised that in the street where I pass almost every day, there was a beautiful antique house and I had never noticed  its beauty...(I am a quite absent minded person)

I decided it could be a nice location for a post ( perhaps a way to excuse myself )

MAX MARA group

Summer heat has come here at last, so in the photo I was wearing a very light, blue dress with a nice ribbon on the front.

I took  the last photo wearing a pair of my sunglasses, and then, looking at that on my tablet, I thought that...

MARNI

... there are some objects, as sometimes people, which do have a strong personality!

  2. Hi Dan, it's strange that you did not notice in that house, is a great house. The dress is very nice, I like the color. The glasses are spectacular.

    1. ...what I wanted to say was that I had never noticed the beauty of that house. Thanks to let me know that the sentence wasn't comprehensible. I hope it is better now!

    1. I can't define that colour: it is a combination of grey and light brown...

  5. I had a similar kind of experience with a building in the town I used to work in, drove past the building a million times, but one day on a walk I really noticed it's charm.

And you can combine this dress with a lot of jackets and cardigans and belts to change the look if you want.

  13. Old houses are like beautiful jewels peppered across the modern landscape. I always delight in spotting a new (to me) one as well. There aren't as many around these parts as there were when I was a little girl (sadly many have been knocked down and replaced with modern houses over the past twenty years), but thankfully some still exist - including the house from 1909 that my family lived in for a few years when I was little (we moved when I was 13, but I still feel a special spot in my heart for that lovely little Edwardian house).
