Effects of blogging

MAX&CO.

I was reflecting, the other day about how I am changing...I have never used too much colours in my life:

MAX&CO. - MAX MARA

no colourful dresses or coats, not colourful bags. ( even if I have been a bags lover since I can remember, I have always  bought cream shades, black or blue )

I didn't use belts  or feminine accessories, ( just beautiful plain clothes  and nothing more than, sometimes, a silk scarf )

I didn't wear necklaces!

Well...I was looking in my closet, the other day and was surprised to see so many colours...I realised that most of them are items I purchased not long ago.

MAX&CO.

And, to be precise, I bought them all after starting with my blog ( that is in last February )

It could be just a coincidence, but I don't think so...

What I think, is that probably seeing other blogs and keeping in touch with people all around the world, ( and that is something I love ) is changing me a bit.   I  often see wonderful colourful clothes and accessories and just wonder : why not?
...and I find it wonderful...

  2. This is a great look! The dress is beautiful and I love the colour combination of yellow and grey (black would be too harsh) and you look fabulous.
The downside of blogging is that we spend more money on clothes :-( the good thing is we get lots of inspirations and meet gorgeous, interesting and stylish ladies from all over the world. I am glad I found your blog!

    Have a nice weekend,

  8. What a pretty dress and I think the sunshine yellow looks happy and cute on you! The small wing on top of the shoulder is so adorable and is flattering while making this dress unique. This outfit also looks stylish with the sweater and belt for cooler weather.

I to find I'm inspired by all the blogs I see all over the world. It's really fun and interesting isn't it?

  11. For me, checking out all the fabulous women over 40 blogs is a relief and change of pace from hearing the dreadful news of tragedies going on all over the world. I have gotten so much pleasure and learned so much from the women of style all over the globe. It encourages you to push the envelop a little and aim for more fun and experimentation with your fashion.

    1. Hi Rebecca, and welcome to my blog. News in real life are sometimes really tragic. But also a blog is real life.In the world there is bad and good. I always try to share the best part of my country...( and that doesn't mean I don't see its bad side )

  12. As someone who embraces colour and accessories with the most open of arms, I can't begin to tell you how very happy it makes me feel to know that you've come to love and wear such things more often yourself since blogging, too. It never ceases to make me happy to know that there is a limitless number of potential colour combos too create out there, as well as beloved favourites to revisit time and time again. I'm feeling the hues of autumn so much as the new season begins this week, and work a combo of navy blue, cranberry, and gold just yesterday to celebrate the start of glorious time of the year.
