Snow

This was how my city looked only a few days ago!
Well, the snow is wonderful, and a snowy landscape is magic, but...

...luckily after a day of snow  it started raining!! (as you can guess I prefer clean streets and milder temperatures

besides,
humidity  has a bad side effect on my hair, and I always need to tie it up... )

Temperatures were ( and still are! ) quite low, but I wanted to have a photo of my jacket, so found this nice courtyard where I was brave enough to take off my coat !

I was wearing the sweater you saw last week

( you can see a detail  in this close up )

and trousers again ( tooooo cold for a dress!! )

Do you like the snow in your city?
I am not sure I like it in mine ...

  1. To answer your question-no, in fact at the moment, I hate it. Ours has been made worse by the fact it rained on it, sleeted, snowed again, repeat cycle several times-walking is not fun at all. I'm ready for spring!

Love the outfit, much more casual than what you usually show, but definitely necessary in the colder weather.

  2. That is one of the reasons why I don't like the snow in my city: you need a more casual outfit!!
    P.s.
I am ready for spring too ... :-)

  3. The snow is beautiful behind the glass and when it is falling.
But getting around the city is a nuisance and as dirty loses its charm .
Your jacket is beautiful and your jersey wonderful, you're very smart with them.

    1. I like seeing while it is snowing and the landscape that changes look, but in the city the snow gets dirty very quickly and , besides, I have to go to work by car!!

  4. I like snow, when it is sunny outside and the snow is purely white and sparkling in the sun. But not if it stays for too long. You are right, it is too cold then and one had to wear many layers, and a coat, and a hat. And usually your nose gets red when outside. So, I prefer milder winters too.
Beautiful jacket, worth to take a risk of shooting it in such coldness. And the sweater's print, oh, so lovely

    1. The snow sparkling in the snow is beautiful but wearing many layers of clothes is not comfortable: that is a more reason why I am not a fan of snow in the city!

I wear that sweater only when it is very cold...its turtleneck is a bit annoying for me...

  5. Love your pretty jacket, and the fitted coat! Oh, snow...we've been having a very mild winter, plus degress mostly, and sleet (wet snow, disgusting... From your photos it looks like you have that, too) Well, I also remember winters with lots of snow and -15, so I shouldn't complain, and we can't really expect spring for another month at least. I'm just getting tired of my winter clothes...

    1. -15 ° is a really low temperature! Luckily it is not common here...and , yes, for ( at least ) another month we will have to wear the winter clothes...let's hope for a sunny Spring!!

  6. I love your coat and your jacket (thank you for taking the coat off and sitting in the cold haha). The sweater adds a nice touch, both because of the print and the colour. And that is the blue bag you said you needed? LOL very beautiful. As usual you make an elegant picture.
As for snow: I only like it when I can sit behind a window in the warmth and watch it.

    1. That day I thought to take photos in a cafe' with big windows and a lot of light where I like going every now and then. But unluckily it was closed that day! So I had to change my plans... and found myself sitting in the cold! :-)
      p.s.
Probably blue was the only colour I didn't have a bag...

  7. I agree with Greetje...that jacket is to die for. The color, the shape....really everything about it. And I really like your hair pulled up! As for the snow---it's a love/hate relationship. I love being able to wear my sweaters. I hate freezing my booty off!!! Jodie

  8. Dan, that weather is positively awful! Although the snow does look pretty. Love your blue jacket, such a delicate and rich shade!
We have been getting very similar weather here,... I am glad I had some photos taken in better climates!
    Love that sweater, too.
    stay war, stay dry!

  9. It's amazing how in 2-3 previous posts it was sunny where you live, then all this snow next! We don't get a proper winter/snow where I live. More like snowflakes. I don't mind chilly as long as it's not raining. Love the colour of your jacket :)

  10. We have not had any snow recently where I live. I 'm pleased because although it's so pretty to look at, I hate having to drive in it! Your jacket is such a lovely shade of blue.
