Summer heat

It seems that we are going to have a hot summer here this year. Some weather report I heard, said it will be as in 2003. Well, I like summer, but I am not sure I am ready for that kind of high temperatures!

So, I had to find adequate solutions:
first of all, tied up hair for me!
Then, can white clothes help?? I don't know for sure, but today  I am wearing mine...

...matched to a blue bag

and blue and white sandals ( Emporio Armani )

( ... a little relaxing break ... )

Black and white bangles and big ring

What's the weather like in your part of the world? Have you got  any refreshing drinks ( without sugar, please! ) to suggest???

P.s.
For the first time in my life, this year I  have done some gardening on my balcony, and now ... my plants are blooming!
( hence, isn't today a fantastic day?? )

  1. A totally different look for you, but I love it! I like your hair up like that. We fortunately are no longer having extremely high temperatures, but they sure were miserable. Stay cool! I'm an iced tea or ice water drinker when it gets really hot. I like to eat watermelon too.

    1. I find that tied up hair gives me a funny face!, but it is a good remedy against hot weather!
And a glass of iced tea is a classic in summer...always a good choice!

  2. The weather in Vancouver has been pretty warm too. It's been around 30c which is considered hot for our region. So grateful to live near the ocean with it's cooling breezes!

I love you in white with just a touch of dark accents! Totally chic!

I have been adding a little mint sprig and a few pieces of fruit or cucumber to my water and chilling the carafe. I find it very refreshing!

    1. The freeze of the sea makes bearable the high temperatures and your drink sounds delicious!! You have everything to enjoy the summer...lucky woman!! :-)

  3. It is hot in my place too! And it is hard to look glamorous in such weather. But you manage that! Look at you: as elegant and beautiful as always! Lovely dress (I like those slits at the front) and nice shoes!

    1. The slits are not only a nice detail but make the dress airy!! :-)
( which, with the high temperatures we are having is essential!! )

  4. Love those shoes! Our weather is wonky. Normally we have very hot humid summers, this year has been cooler than normal. I'm not complaining though. I like moderate temperatures.

    1. I am often wearing those shoes as they are a happy medium between flats and high heels...

  6. My friend, I have run out of ways to tell you that you are both chic and adorable! You look amazing in white and your accents are perfect. I love those shoes, by the way. I think the big ring steals the show, but it would not look nearly so stunning if you weren't dressed in the perfect backdrop. It is unusually warm here; but hot weather is both a blessing and a curse. Ultimately it will change so I try not to bemoan the warm temps. Thanks for the fashion show :)

  7. Oh this beautiful dress reminds me of my Max Mara weekend white dress. I had to give itawayas I was bursting out of it. Such a shame. Yours looks beautiful. And trust you to find elegant low heeled shoes... So pretty. I also love your bracelets and ring, but when it is really hot, I like to wear very little jewellery. It bothers me too much. As for the weather... it is really hot in The Netherlands: 27 to 37 degrees. Very unusual for us. Everybody is in an uproar.

    1. What a pity you can't wear it anymore!
It is the same for me about jewelry : it seems that everything which touches my skin...bothers me!!
37 digrees?? That is really too much for jewelry! I suggest only earrings at the moment!! :-)

  9. Dan, you manage to look as elegant as usual even in your sweltering heat. I always find somehow I feel cooler in white, your sheath dress is stunning on you . As a bangle lover, I really like yours and that ring. Try to stay cool, as I type the T.V. news is reporting on European heat.

  14. Love all white Dan! Summery, fresh and cool!! A very elegant look which you always do so well my dear! I would love to add it to my Summertime post with your permission. I wore all white today.

Our weather is changeable: one day coolish, heavy rainful on Tuesday, many pleasant days and so far not much heat, so that's not bad. AND NO SNOW!! ;-)
