Paintings

A new week, a new post .... I have already posted a combination of a dress above a pair of trousers, but seems that I recently find it irresistible!

And the funny thing is that I   have never been wearing such a combination in past years!
What about you?  Is it something that you usually wear?
My  today's dress has a snake print and I paired it with a pair of brown trousers .

I was strolling  about my city the other day and thinking that Italy sometimes is a funny country!

You can find holy images and statues everywhere

Especially on old buildings

Probably they are there to give a helping hand ...
... for those who believe.

For those who don't,  it's simply art ....

I was surprised to see two on this wall

and thought that the owner of the flat can  really feel on the safe side!

I  find that those paintings enrich the houses and create a quite typical vibe.

By the way ... on the ground floor  of the building where I live, a neighbour put a statue on the stairs ....

  6. It is a very elegant outfit. I think I will like it just as much as a dress as with the trousers. Two good options. Well you have a beautiful face and body. You really cannot go wrong. And here is your new colour Obag😍😍.
As for the christian art on the buildings, it is beautiful to see..

    1. In past times the paintings were a sort of ... protectors of the house. Of course they were ( and are ) also very decorative!

  8. Dan, I love the printed dress with the slim trousers, it is s chic! I do find those photos so interesting, the holy images, and beautiful architecture, and laundry, -the mundane-, eye to eye, seems ironic and sort of cool!
    well done!

    1. You caught perfectly my point of view about the images, Elle! Ordinary aspects of life and religious belief. They look very closely linked in the popular feeling ...

  9. Hi Dan, I love this look on you. It really suits your figure, is very flattering and is maybe something I ought to be trying too. I think the sharp trousers underneath are perfect as loose ones wouldn't look so polished - and polished is something that really looks good on you. Have a lovely weekend x

  10. This outfit is definitely one of my favorites! It looks so nice on you too. Isn't it nice when you can use a piece many different ways? I love the photos of the different religious pieces, so beautiful and interesting. You certainly live in a beautiful place.

  13. I love this dress over trousers look on you; it really suits you. You should do more of it! I adore the photos of your surrounding, but I feel a little sorry for Jesus having to look at the laundry all day long in the one photo! xx
