H day

Hi! This year I happen to post on Halloween day, and so I tried to give a touch of dark mood to the whole thing
...

Was there a best day to share my black O'Bag?

To be honest, I am not a fan of Halloween celebrations and in my country they have just recently been imported, but the day is largely celebrated abroad and required an adequate post!!

I  found an odd shop with shop windows in the theme !

The odd thing is that the shop windows haven't been decorated for the day but look the same  all the year round !
( I have never understood why )

The  merchandise they  sell has nothing to do with Halloween

Since they only sell beautiful  fabrics !

I live in a crazy country and usually don' t ask too many questions about people.
This is a funny world after all ...

... with the most crazy combinations !

Enjoy the day
( if you celebrate it )

  2. Such a beautiful bag! And I like your outfit very much - you look fabulous!

I think Halloween is a holiday you have to grow up with to enjoy; well, at least that's my explanation for why I'm not into it either... ;-)

    1. I totally agree with you about Halloween. Besides, it isn't part of Italian traditions hence not really popular here ...

  4. Ha ha! It is funny how all of Europe is now importing North American traditions, even if they originated in Europe to begin with before being commercialized in the US.

  5. Halloween has only recently come to the fore in Australia too, last night was the first night ever we had children trick or treating knock at our door.
The fabric shop certainly has some fun with their displays. On another note you look wonderful in those colours, so classic and classy.

    1. The Halloween celebrations seem to be less popular here recently

      P.s.
The shop windows always have a bit crazy look, but ... funny !

  6. I'm not really into Halloween either, although it has become quite big here in Belgium. Those shop decorations, even if they were not intended for Hallowoon, do look classy, and so do you. I love the skirt you're wearing, as well as the black O'Bag! xxx

    1. The shop looked perfect as a background of the post and I had a black bag so I had the idea to make a Halloween-inspired post ...

  7. Well, well, well.. not just another collar or handles. No a completely new bag with inner/outer flap (if that is the right word). Beautiful. As is your skirt and top. How come you always look elegant AND modern in skirts with pumps? Is it the way you wear the top?

Do you think I look modern ? Probably I have to thank the large sweater for that !

  8. Love your classic outfit, the skirt especially and another fab O bag!How I love that, a perfect shopping bag. Love the windows that you found, very creative "scary" displays. Looks like lovely weather. Enjoy!

I stayed in, but went to the lobby of my building and handed out candy to the little ones, so much fun, I did not dress up, but did manage some orange and black!

  9. You are righter than right about people. I wonder...are the people that own that shop from America? Because it is amazing how big & crazy people get for Halloween over here.
My husband and I don't love it, but we seem like the minority.
Your outfit is beautiful & classic, Dan!

    1. The crazier part of the story is that the owners are Italian! They are peculiar people who also look ... peculiar! :-)
