What happened...

Last week, when  I went out for some photos. I  thought it would have been the usual  routine.:
a little time around and then ... at home to prepare the post.

But when I think that I am about to do an easy job, things turn out to  be complicated!

Nothing of what I was wearing seemed work !
Bad combination of colours and prints, hair in a mess, very tired face, and a background without any  interest ...
The only sensible things was to  give up and try again another day.
(Side effect:no post! )

After a few days I tried a different outfit  in a different place.

Silk shirt in a cream shade with long sleeves which peep out of the animalier print sweater and a blue pen skirt

Blue and silver bracelets ( the blue one is part of "my fall/winter collection)

Apart from the bracelet, the only new item are the boots.

Moral:often it's useless try and try again when something doesn't work. It will probably go on badly even if you try a hundred times.

If the same happens to you ... don't worry! Surely... everything will be fine another day...

  1. It happens to me too, sometimes Dan. Last Saturday, I was all ready to go out and have outfit photos taken, when I changed my mind about my outfit, which was looking a bit drab for the miserable weather we were having. I'm loving this outfit though, and you are looking great. That coat is marvellous! xxx

    1. At last I found a good combination ! I have a huge quantity of clothes and surprisingly... there are days in which I feel that I have nothing to wear!

  2. I very much like this outfit! Great new boots - so stylish!

And I have had the same happen when taking outfit photos. Something looks great in my head but not so much in real life or photos...

    Have a great week!

  3. I can totally relate Dan! There are just some days, that the clothing I pick out seems to have a mind of it's own!
And there is no reason to stress about it!
I do love your sweater! And the ankle boots with your skirt look fabulous!

  8. I can totally relate - sometimes nothing seems to go right and you end up with no post; but you're absolutely right that there's no point in insisting - the next day will be better!

    1. The organization regarding my blogging is very far from perfection! I should keep extra photos to prepare my posts when I am in trouble. Unluckily often I find it difficult planning my life in advance!

  9. You got me totally confused. When I started reading and I saw the empty wall,
I assumed you meant that the first photos were no good and I couldn't find anything wrong with them. At the very end of the post I found out you never posted the photos you thought were bad haha. My dear, I think it is impossible for you to look bad. This outfit is equally elegant as all your outfits. Great new booties. Still love the bag as well. And I often think of your skills as jewellery designer. As I said at the beginning of our friendship: I would buy them from you.

    1. So, the post created a sort of suspence ... that is nice!
      I didn't post the ( horrible ) photos ! I really couldn't share them ...
      P.s.
The wall I used as a background is downstairs in the empty flat.
