Are you ready?



Are you ready to follow me to the seaside?    :-)

and a huge straw bag for the beach! ( do you have one? They are soooo cute! )

At last  has come the time to pack up and enjoy some days by the sea!!
And packing up is so an hard job for me!
How can I decide to bring only one bag on holidays?
And to say nothing about shoes!!


( so you can see in this photo my extra bag...just in case...)


I know  well  that, very soon, I will start realizing   I need just what I have left at home...


I hope that packing up is an easier task for you...

...and that you are enjoyng the summer as well...

    You see? This is why I think you are a lady... wearing a beautiful dress and a beautiful necklace to go to the beach. Never would I do that. My thoughts would be: "What do I have that can go straight into the washing machine when I get home, and does not require any ironing?" Which is usually not my prettiest dress.

      There is some truth in your words, Greetje! I always take from my closet the prettiest dress and necklace... even if I am just going to the beach... luckily at the moment I have plenty of time to hand wash and iron! ( and to make necklaces! )

    You look very nice for a trip to the beach. I usually have on something that I don't void getting wet and full of sand. The waist strip are very nice. Such a slimming effect. That which you don't need.

      Well... I stay at the beach very little time ( only one hour in the morning and in the afternoon ) and usually spend more time sitting at the cafe... that is why I am wearing a nice dress! Hot sunshine is not for me anymore...

    Dan. Having problem with the bags is very normal.
    We always need just what we decided to leave at home.
    But you have chosen a beautiful dress. And the accompanying basket is also very nice.

      Yes, Curra... the fact is that when I am at home I can't realize how much the weather is different at the seaside! ( I live next to the mountains )

    Excellent look for the beach and a tote style bag is a practical must. I agree with Greetje, you are such a lady and I do mean this in the most positive way! Lovely dress and sandals. Hope you are having a wonderful time. Interesting foliage on the tree.

      I do like maritime plants! They add a special atmosphere to my holidays! I should try to sketch them! ( not very easy for me! )

      Thanks, Sue! The sea is rough at the moment , with so high waves! Very beautiful, but that means it's impossible to bath ... what a pity! :-(
