Through the glass

Hi, dearest! Today I am not the subject of the post...

I want you to follow me and my assistant through Turin

Luisa Spagnoli

and have a look at the window shops with us

Marella

in search of  ideas for spring.

Max&co.

The new slim fit  trousers caught my attention as they make a modern look.

Patrizia Pepe

And talking about modetn outfits, I noticed a golden pleated skirt matched to a jacket with red details and an oriental style print.

Gucci

It seems that we will see a lot of red  here!
( I should definitely add some red in my closet ... )

Marella

( Or this delightful black and white dress very my taste! )

Marella

Do you like getting inspirations by the shop windows?
p.s.
I hope you enjoyed the tour ...

  4. Yes I enjoyed my tour. Exactly why I cannot come visit you haha. No way I can say "no shopping" in a city like this. I could but nearly everything you are showing. Even the blue culotte of Marella (and I hate culottes). Love the golden pleated skirt of Gucci. The checked peplum top of Marella gave me the idea to combine my black and white one with a jacket (I know, that is not rocket science so why do I need a picture to come up with this idea? Because I am not a natural in styling like you are, that is why). I am glad there are still skinny trousers. Hate to see them go. And I will not be wearing the PJ trend.
    Lovely doggie...

    1. Next time you will come, we stay away from temptations and will enjoy some time chatting together and taking photos of stylish ladies!. (I know, it won't be an easy task!! ).
Shop windows often provide me new ideas of how matching old clothes...

Funny, like you I hate culottes but I would like try those Marella's...

    2. I tried to stay away from temptation last year... and failed miserably. To no fault of yours. You had this lovely art exhibition tour planned, but I just don't have any restrained, no self control. A beautiful city (Turin), fantastic clothes, discount (outlet) and a friend who can style me... Too much of a good thing to waste haha.

    1. I like red on other women, but often find it too bright on me. I should probably get used to it!

  6. What a fabulous day! The first shot was of you? NO? Loved it. I adore Gucci this season, and love what you found on your shopping excursion. I have a similar pleated skirt and am looking for a printed bomber that you showed with the skirt, I guess i will have to do some shopping myself!
Well done, and what a fun treat to share!
    Cute doggie, too. :)

  7. Thank you and your adorable little helper for the guided tour of the best of Spring fashion. I must admit I had not heard of Marella but I really liked both of their looks.

    1. Marella brand is part of the MaxMara group ( which I love! )
I can't wait to start wearing lighter weight clothes!
It sounds so odd to think that in your part of the world, autumn is approaching...
