At home

First of all ... sorry for the bad quality of my today's photos.
I had a day off last week and spent a long weekend at my vacation home.

I wanted some  photos  there,  but it turned out to be a bad idea, because shooting inside is far more difficult!

There is nothing precious in the flat and the furniture is quite simple because I don't want to worry about ruining things when I am on holidays, besides, the  the place had a typical style which I liked keeping .
As you can see, in the kitchen there is also an old oven for the bread .

Do you have a special place where you can really relax?
This is mine, I always spend lovely days in the small village ...

When I was there last week

I knitted a new collar for my bag
(and went to the hairdresser since I had a lot of spare time! )

Back home, when I was preparing the post, I thought that, thanks to the bad quality of the photos,
my ( many ) wrinkles where less visible!!
Hooray!

  2. Your holiday home looks like a great place to visit and just relax. I must agree with Sue about your wonderful kitchen , I wonder do you use the bread oven. Don't worry about the grain in the photos, they are fine.

    1. The flat has a fireplace in the sitting room and the bread oven in the kitchen. They are perfectly working but, to be honest ... I have never used them!!

  4. Your weekend home looks absolutely lovely. It looks like the prefect place to relax! Do you ever use the bread oven? Your outfit is lovely, too.

We go to the same place on the coast a few times a year, and it's nice and relaxing, but nothing compared to your place...

I love how you find the silver lining with these photos---I always say I like going to the dimmer restaurants because I look better!!
And you knitted a top for your purse? How fabulous!! Did you have a pattern, or just designed it yourself? You are brilliant!!

  6. Oh it so different from what I imagined. Not worse, not better, just different. It is all clean and white and much bigger than I thought. You once showed a picture of the outside, all very old stones. I thought it would be the same inside. You have a lovely holiday home. With a big kitchen hahaha (you know what I mean). I love the collar you made. It is perfect. Like an astrakhan fur coat. Live that top too. And your hair always looks good.

  12. I'm pleased to see you in jeans this week too - I showcased some jeans for a change and it got a surprisingly good response. I really like yours Dan, because of the huge turn ups - they work really well don't they? My camera isn't so good for indoor photography, but I think I still have lots to learn about it perhaps.
    Have a good evening x

    1. Thanks, Anna! Those jeans are from a spring/summer collection and are from linen...I think that I will have to put them away before long ...

      P.s.
I always use my tablet camera for the photos ... it is not bad at all, is it?
