Like a copycat

There is a joke about being a copycat between my friend Greetje of No Fear of Fashion and me

When she gets inspired to one of my outfit she calls herself a copycat,
but I think that we inspire each other ...
In any case today the copycat it's me!

What do I mean?
Look at my skirt ... many of you saw the same on her!
She bought her skirt last year in Turin . I bought mine last week.
But,  can a sensible woman resist to buy an extraordinary beautiful item at an extraordinary reduced price ?
That woman  hasn't got my name!

The skirt is by  Max Mara  and has a delicate cream colour which I matched to a burgundy long  blouse underneath a bi-colour viscose sweater ( plus one of my bags in a similar tone )

While I was shooting the other day after a whole week of rain

Something attracted my attention ...

A drone was flying right above me and a man looked very concentrated in driving it here and there , up and down .
I thought that men are funny guys!
And find peculiar ways to enjoy a Sunday morning ...

... of course he probably thought the same of me, while I was trying to get good photos of my skirt!

P.s.
Do you happen to be inspired by someone you know ?

  2. Copycat or not, what a lovely skirt. Of course you had to buy it. I love how you combined it with burgundy. That bag is to die for, by the way. I sometimes get inspired by other bloggers too. You sometimes need a little push to wear a certain item, don't you? I'm sure Greetje doesn't mind at all. xxx

  4. I don't call it copying per se---it's really sharing our good ideas!!
And especially economical when you can get the same item on sale!
    You look fabulous, Dan!
And I had to laugh at the drone---boys and their toys. But then again women and their clothes, right?

    1. The coat is old but it was a great purchase. The only bad side is that I can' t wear it if temperatures are too low ... it is a coat for transition seasons ...

The drone made me smile, boys at play.

  7. Hah!! I think that was very wise of you to buy it. It is indeed a lovely skirt. And it is not that we hang out together all the time, so what if we share a few items haha. I copied your boots first.
The bi-colour sweater (lovely) is really nice on the skirt. Especially with that transparant burgundy blouse underneath it. Hmmm... camel-cream with burgundy... hmmm what have I got in my closet?? haha. You inspire me again.

PS your shape of Obag is better with fur than mine. The fur goes up a bit at the sides, making the bag look like a boat (??)

  8. It's a beautiful skirt, and it makes sense that you got it, especially if it was a good deal! I love the skirt paired with the two colored top. The burgundy looks lovely with cream. And how gorgeous is your bag! Fabulous coat, too. As you can see, I love EVERYTHING about your outfit.

  9. I love the skirt and it is a fabulous fashion staple! No wonder both you and Greetje were drawn to it.
I love the way you layered it with the different textures, and that the burgundy layer is so filmy and soft.
Drones,, eek! And that bag!! :)

    1. Oh yes, the skirt is beautiful. It is faux leather but very soft and the pale cream colour is easy to match ...
