Friday morning

  
 Why I said Friday if today is Monday?  The answer is very simple: as many people I definitely prefer Friday ! It's one of those days that makes me feel  positive,  and last week was not an exception...


The sun was shining on the old roofs


I was wearing a new bracelet
( they told me it is a real leaf )



And my old pumps 
( good items live soooo long )


And I was ready for a walk on cobblestones!


I don't know if you ever experienced that , but in my opinion is one of the most difficult tasks a lady has to face! 
You know,  the heels always get blocked into  the slot between stones ...


But of course being Friday nothing could ruin my positive mood 


Nor the fact that I realized there was an extra job for my cobbler! 

Never mind ... it was Friday! 
( but the day flied away in a flash )

    That is a really beautiful skirt Dan. And you gave it a very nice twist with that lovely fuchsia top. Was it early morning when you took these pictures? As you are wearing a jacket. In my memory it is always nice and hot weather in your part of the world.
    Glad to see Grillo out and about.
    As far as those heels are concerned. You know I have a very practical Dutch nature and I would give in. I would walk on flat shoes when there are so many cobblestones. I would take my heels with me in my bag until I am on flat surface.

      I am afraid I am not a very practical person like you, Greetje! Besides I am also quite stubborn and if I decide for heels ... I must wear heels! ( not a positive attitude , I know!! )
      My new ( old ) flat is in the very centre of ancient part of the city so, remember to bring flat shoes when you come and visit!!!

      About the weather : we are having a bad Spring this year with low temperatures...what a pity!

      Maybe we stole your good weather as it is really warm here in The Netherlands: 24 to 29 degrees. Mind you, next week it will be colder and rainy. But we had the sunshine for weeks and weeks.

    As I read this I had a flashback to the time I lost my shoe in the middle of the street--and it wasn't even cobblestone! I'd recently had them repaired and apparently some of the glue was stuck to the bottom and I stepped just right--and out of the shoe. Ooops!

    I love the bracelet. I have a pendant that is like that made from a real leaf, it's one of my favorite pieces for autumn.

    Ohhh that skirt and those shoes are lovely - your outfit is lovely, and your hair! You have styled if differently I think? I love it! I don't know how you wear heels on cobbles and if there is a slope - I am in awe but also inspired to try and dress that little bit smarter :)

    I do like your striped skirt and top. The leaf bracelet is so very pretty. I so admire your ability to walk on cobblestones in heels, must be years of practice. I fear I can only manage flats on the cobblestones. Pity your Spring weather has been poor , hopefully a warm Summer will follow.
