Summer time at last!

It was years since we had a Spring as rainy as this year's!
But hot weather has arrived at last and on Sunday I made up my mind for a visit to a flea market...

In a delightful small country near Turin.

The weather was perfect for my new sleeveless cotton top with ruffles

And the comfortable sandals that I bought last year...

When I arrived I was quite disappointed in seeing that the flea market had been posponed!

Never mind.
I thought that with such a beautiful day it would have been nice a tour in the tiny country

Where I discovered a stunningly decorated church
( from 1756 )

Almost Summer at last ...

  1. Not nice when you want to visit a flea market and it is not there. The church is decorated in such a rich way. Which in my experience, is often in Italy.
I see a new bag. Well everything you are wearing is new to me. It has been 3/4 of a year after all.
I cannot figure out how that skirt is made. Is the "fishnet" printed on the skirt? Or hanging lose?

    1. Churches are like museums here, places where you can admire paintings or statues which are masterpieces of art. This is why I love visiting them...

The fishnet on my jersey skirt is neither hanging lose nor a print ... blue threads and yellow ones cross each other . I have already posted the skirt last year but yes, the bag is a new entry!! ( Elisabetta Franchi )
Vincenzo recently bought it for me ♡♡♡

    1. Many thanks Nancy! The only new piece is the top which I "definitely" needed for my yellow jersey skirt... :-)

  6. Beautiful photos - I love your style, those shoes are just the cutest. Even turning up to not find the flea market - that looks like a lovely day regardless and that church is exquisite - you are so lucky to live in Italy, but then people are what makes Italy wonderful, the buildings are quite something but so are the people :)

  7. Shame about the flea market but sounds like you enjoyed your day. The buildings in the town look wonderful as does the church. Always love your photos showing your part of Italy. Looking as stylish as ever , the top and skirt , not to mention your shoes and bag are all so good together. Enjoy your Summer.

  8. Dan,
I am in love with that yellow skirt. The ruffled blouse is a perfect complement to it. It is wonderful that you ended up at a beautiful church instead. I am so glad you are enjoying the sunshine.
