This is what happened in Cremona

Ever been to Cremona? Neither did I until we decided to choose the city
for our usually journey after Christmas

About 70.000 inhabitants, in the North of Italy, less than 3 hours by car from where I live
Ancient buildings of extraordinary beauty

Which tell the story of my country.

It was the first going-out for my new Obag!
( with fake fur of course)

The wether was very cold indeed with temperatures around the 0°C for all the day

There were some fog too.

Luckily we had  many places which inside were wort  visiting

Among them many churches that  in Italy really are like museums, with masterpieces of great value!

It was only on the last day of our staying when we (at last) saw the sun again...
So ... I took my coat off!!

( but I wasn't brave enough to take off the  sleeveless puffet I was wearing underneath )

Hope you had a warmer weather...

  2. Great post. You are so right, Italy is a country with so much beauty! I don't think any other country has so much class, so much style, so much design. In everything. Buildings, clothes, shoes, interior decoration... everything. I love Italy. Forgot to mention the food!
You look adorable and I like your sleeveless puffer jacket. Nice and warm for underneath but also stylish. I have one from Uniqlo (with sleeves) which is very practical as you can fold it into a little packet, but it has no style.
And Grillo has a wardrobe of his own! Not the same jacket every day, no ...! How cute.
I am glad to see that you still wear your brown boots. So do I. Well, on days when my knee allows me. I still love them.
The interior of the church(es) is like the Vatican. Overwhelming and of such beauty.

    2. You can see an extraordinarily beautiful piece of art in a unknown church of a small city in Italy. I had never heard about Cremona as a place so rich in works of art !
The vity is also where Stradivari, Guarneri and Amati made their famous violines . Many musicians in the world choose instuments made by them because of their excellent sound...

It is funny and I didn't notice it, but yes, Grillo changed coats! ( he was trembling for cold and on the second day I put on him the warnmer coat...)

  11. Thank you for this. It reminded me of a wonderful day we spent there a few years ago. It is really beautiful. We bought great bread from a baker shop where the ceiling was painted like opera boxes. No matter where you go in Italy you find natural and man made beauty. Love you dog.

I love your fabulous styling here. The pink furry handbag is just precious, and very sophisticated with the navy blue coat. Indeed those churches do look like museums. Incredible art and architecture. I do love northern Italy! I hope you are well and enjoying the new year !
