Animals of the city

What a day! It doesn't seem to want stop raining. Gray morning in town ...let's have a look around and see if something happens.

The city looks desert. Very few people on the streets, but

there are all kinds of animals: a silver dog looking trought a window shop,

 two white hens  among the olive branches,

a cute bunny on a chest of drawers,

and a zebra.

The city wasn't  so desert!

My friends know how much I love animals. 
I have a particular fondness for dogs and chocolate eggs, and every year for Easter I can put together these my two great passions buyng my egg from the animal right association LAV.
I must say that the chocolate is delicious and, as every year, I have finished my egg well before Easter!

And this is the surprise I have found. Funny, isn't it? 

Brrrr...!

You can call it spring but low temperatures are back.There are clouds and it's going to rain again. What a pity! It would have been nice to spend a few days at sea for Easter.

I do hope that soon there will be sunny  days. For the moment I prefer to stay in my warm house, and make daytrips to the town.

It's better leave light clothes and, by the way, this is the green coat I was talking about last time.

As I was afraid yesterday, it started raining, and the weather forecast says it is going  ahead the same way for the whole week.

Most  shops were open and Torino was beautiful  under the rain.

Today is cloudy  here, ( I'm afraid it's going to rain ) and the town looks like it was November. Just from  the shop windows you can get that winter is  over!
Today I am in the mood to wear neutral  colours.

I find that beige goes nicely with white, so I got out of my wardrobe a cotton skirt, a three-quarter sleeve shirt...

...and my extra large bag, full of ...I don't know what!!

Making things: a handbag

I find it quite relaxing to make things ( when I have  time! ). 

This bag has a floral MEZZOPUNTO enbroidery I stitched years ago for a pillow but I never used.

Here it has become a usefull pocket where I put keys, sunglasses and small things to keep on handy.

The bag has a wooden handle and a button to close.

I know, I know, it's far from perfect. . .

Two new outfits

I wasn't able to post in the last days because my Samsung Tab slipped off my hands and the touch screen broken. As a result I had to take it in  for repair assistance.

Anyway I am here again with two new outfits!

This time black and white for the dresses, high heels as usual and gorgeous handbags.

To make the look more casual I have chosen a denim jacket.

There is a nice place in Torino where you can have a pizza, a delicious pasta or just a cup of coffee. If it doesn't rain you can sit outside...

...otherwise there are rooms inside ( one is upstairs ). If you go in, have a glance at the pictures hanging all over the walls: they are photomontages and are really funny!

Scent of Portofino

Some time ago my nephew and his lovely wife gave me a scented and soft bath foam.

My dry skin greatly appreciated it. In fact it is quite confortable to use thanks to  PH 5.5.

What's more, its name Piazzetta di Portofino evokes the place where famous people spent their holidays by the sea.  

I do like these little traditinal treasures.

Those who have never had a  teddy bear raise their hand! What a tender friend! This one you see is an  elegant guy too!!

A touch of colour

Every year, at the beginning of March, I begin to perceive the arrival of spring even though the temperatures are  low. 

Clothes are still heavy but you can start adding a touch of colour with bags and shoes
