Ventimiglia

Ventimiglia is a small town by the sea. It is very caotic ( you can't image how much! ) and it is about 130 km. from where I live.
I don't know the reasons why I like it, because is far from being perfect...but there is a nice garden in the center with many palm trees.

There is a daily market where they sell fruit, vegetables

and beautiful, fragrant  flowers.

There are cafes ( but a few have wi fi ) and people coming from all parts of Italy...

...and finally  a long promenade where you can walk!
Perhaps is the constant colourful confusion that reigns there, and its friendly inhabitants what make me feel always at ease !

Yellow

This shrub  ( I don't know the name ) is an explosion of life, isn't it? Plants enjoy the first spring sun...

MAX & CO.

...why don't add a bit of yellow to the wardrobe too? I find this outfit will be lovely in summer

Oops! I couldn't help myself from doing a sketch!

ZARA HOME

Back to yellow...  this tablecloth make me think of a country house among the meadows...

Not just a cup of coffee

Do you remember Paulista e Carmencita? They are part of my childhood memories as characters of a famous advertising.
You can meet them today in a cafè, that is one of my favouritesplaces for an afternoon break.

Upstairs there are many rooms furnished in the style of the sixties

where you can sit, flipping trough a magazine...

...and enjoy a wonderful cappuccino!

Flowers in the city

It's nice to walk in the city in a sunny day! And nice to discover that plants are waking up. There are a lot of flowers around and a special bright light.

It's a good day for my little Bangio to get acquainted with a new friend...

...and for me to sit down and have my lunch in the open air

Animals of the city

What a day! It doesn't seem to want stop raining. Gray morning in town ...let's have a look around and see if something happens.

The city looks desert. Very few people on the streets, but

there are all kinds of animals: a silver dog looking trought a window shop,

two white hens  among the olive branches,

a cute bunny on a chest of drawers,

and a zebra.
The city wasn't  so desert!

Torino under the rain

PIAZZA C.FELICE

As I was afraid yesterday, it started raining, and the weather forecast says it is going  ahead the same way for the whole week.

PIAZZA S.CARLO

Temperatures were quite high in the morning and we  decided to go out all the same.
Most  shops were open and Torino was beautiful  under the rain.

We paused for our morning coffee...

MELODY

...later I could not miss the opportunity to meet this sweet little lady. She is very elegant isn't she?

Spring!

Spring is back! Here are three shots I have  recently done.
In my opinion, there is nothing more pleasant than a warm sunny day after the winter, to go around in search of something PRETTY CUTE.
Beauty is in flowers...

Not just a cup of coffee

SFASHION CAFE'

There is a nice place in Torino where you can have a pizza, a delicious pasta or just a cup of coffee. If it doesn't rain you can sit outside...

...otherwise there are rooms inside ( one is upstairs ). If you go in, have a glance at the pictures hanging all over the walls: they are photomontages and are really funny!

Wonderful Milano

It had been a long time since I went to Milano . Recently I decided to have a stroll there with my husband. and...what a surprise! I found a wonderful town!!

What I wonder now is: it was me that looked at the town in a different way, or it's  the town that improved so much?
May anyone  give me an answer?

Looking around

PIAZZA VITTORIO
Day off today. Rain and some snow. Quite cold outside, but why miss out a morning walk with my sister?
