Is red the new black?

Have you noticed that on fashion magazines there are a lot of red clothes and accessories recently?
I am not a  fan of red ( until now ) but I must say that  I have seen wonderful proposals around...

...as usual I have focused my attention on bags

because I think that a stilish bag can make the difference...

Among the huge quantity of red bags that I have seen, I have chosen this Furla one

and it is the first red bag I have ever had in my life!

CARACTERE

A plain, red bag, because in fashion sometimes less is more...

I love it! And  it is double face...so I can use it also inside out.

Today, In the morning , as  I  was getting ready, I thought that just one red accessory wasn't enough, so  I add this stone necklace I made myself last summer.

Have I said last summer? Oh, my God!

We are in Autumn now...

...wonderful autumn!

    2. A red bag adds a strong personality to an outfit!
I am glad you like my necklace, if you make a similar one, remember to use a double thread. That will allow you to make the tassel. . .

  5. Red bags, I say yes to this. Yours is a beauty and reversible is such a good idea. Nice dress too. Basic in the way that your accessories shine. Fun pictures!

  12. Dan, I am a lover of red, I think a cheerful color, which favors well run and that can be very elegant.
Your bag is gorgeous. Furla addition usually last long because they are good quality
The necklace ends with red balls to put that touch of color that will go well into fall.

  14. Such a chic, sophisticated ensemble, dear Dan. If red is the new black, you won't hear a peep of complaint from me. Red is one of my absolute favourite, and most frequently worn, colours. From handbags to shoes, hair bows to cardigans, and of course dresses and hats, I've got red sprinkled liberally all throughout my wardrobe (oh, and of course, there's always my beloved Russian Red lipstick from MAC, too :)). It's a regal, warm, romantic, absolutely fantastic colour and I bet I'll always wear it in abundance.

    Un bacio,
    ♥ Jessica

  16. It will come as no surprise when I say I love the bag. As you know I love red bags (I have two of them, a shopper and a handbag... oh and a cute Italian little leather one). And you can never go wrong with Furla. Being reversible sounds like a very good deal, but I don't know about that. The inside will get a little dirty in use, won't it? Do you use a bag-in-bag? See this website: http://www.tintamar.com/
I always use it, as it makes changing bags so easy.
Of course your necklace and dress are very good too. Nice idea to make the necklace like that.

  17. Hi my dear Greetje! Yes I thought probably you would have liked my red bag. I bought it online ( yoox.it ) where they sold it 45% off the real price. The inside is of purple suede so, for some time it will look clean! ( I hope. . .)
I don't use tintamar ( which is a very good trick ) but some very thin envelopes( Furla again!) with zip fastener. I usually use three of those: one for money, one for beauty items and the third one for my precious Galaxy tab! They works more or less like a tintamar and make it easier to change bags very quickly! . . . different countries but similar solutions! Isn't it great?
I am experimenting many ways to make necklaces. In a few days you will see another one, quite different.

    1. I have yoox.it open in my browser but after looking at it for two minutes I closed the site quickly. Sooooo many temptations.

  18. I often buy on that online shop. They have almost everything a woman can desire...and a good selection of bags!! I agree...a real temptation!!
