Some days ago, last Saturday to be precise, I went to Torino to see if there was something new.
As I wanted to wear something special to match my red bag, I wore the very first parure I made mysel : necklace and earrings with the same stones.
Aren't theycute?
I felt like a lady, ( I need so little to be happy! ) and made for the city, where I took some photos in Galleria S.Federico,
the weather was quite hot as you can guess by looking at my sleeveless optical dress, and mr. Bangio had some rest next to me....
After a couple of days, the weather was completely different and, since I decided to wear the same dress, I had to add a wollen jacket!
then I wore my red, double face bag the other way, because purple seemed to be better...
...so useful, to have versatile clothes and accessories!!
Very elegant dress and I also like it with your jacket. Gosh the bag was a good choice! Reversible makes so many options. Very pretty pattern on your dress plus your jewelry looks great with it. A sleeveless shift style dress looks so good on you!
ReplyDeleteblue hue wonderland
Thanks Ann. I think I have the widest variety ever seen on earth of sleeveless dresses! I always feel at ease wearing them...
DeleteUn vestido precioso y muy femenino, bonitod complementos. Besitos
ReplyDeleteHi Lola, thanks for your comment and...welcome to my blog!
DeleteDan, there's nothing better than a nice dress to feel good.
ReplyDeleteDid you find what you were looking for in the Galleries?
It is very nice to spend a quiet evening looking for things that you like.
Also going well together and that's always nice.
Kisses
I totally agree with you, Curra! Dresses are the best clothes to feel good, and...are so confortable!!
DeleteWell, in the city I didn't buy anything last week, just a glance at the window shops, but I had a pleasant afternoon, and ... a very good cappuccino!!
Beautiful, Dan! I love your style and would instantly wear your dress which looks fabulous and professional with the blazer too.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the double faced Furla bag just amazing? My daughter has the same but in different colours.
I hope you had a lovely shopping day!

Thanks Annette. You are a so elegant woman, and for that reason I double appreciate your comment! The bag is really amazing, I wear it every day!
DeleteIn the city I spent a relaxing, lovable afternoon...it has been the last sunny day we have had ( until now! )
The dress and necklace seem precious. A nice look, even with the jacket.
ReplyDeleteThanks Josep, I am glad that you like...
DeleteYou always look like a lady..
ReplyDelete...I am glad that you like...
ReplyDeleteThanks Missy, I like reading fashion magazines, which probably inspire me!
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so elegant ... love the look you got with the addition of the jewels in red, it's as bright sparks. You look gorgeous always, dear Dan
ReplyDeleteI am in love with red accessories at the moment, they seem to add a touch of joy to autumn. . .
DeleteHi Dan,
ReplyDeleteWonderful outfit as always. I love the necklace and remembered after seeing this that I have one that my sister made many years ago that I must wear. I took a course in beading but did not feel particularly adept at this craft. You do such beautiful work that I may be motivated to try my hand at this again.
Hi Rebecca, making necklaces is my last passion! To take a course in beading is a good idea. I am sure you can create yourself wonderful jewels. . . ( which I would like to see )
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dress, what a lovely necklace, what a great bag. I like both outfits, with and without the jacket. It is great that the necklace works with both sides of the bag. I knew you were good at macking necklaces. This is another fine example.
ReplyDeleteGreetje
Thanks Greetje. Can you belive that I didn't used to wear necklaces until a few years ago? I think you have inspired my passion!!
DeleteYou allways look like a lady, be sure! Necklace is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks GeeGee, As a lady I can wear beautiful clothes instead of jeans...and it is such a fun !
ReplyDeleteI love pieces that can be worn in all kinds of weather and situations. And the bag is definitely showing it's versatility! I really like those jewelry pieces, you have made some really nice ones. Have you been making jewelry for very long?
ReplyDeleteI have always loved making stuff of different kind, such as purses, jewelry and little embroidery for my home, but my passion for stones neckaces was born just a few months ago. To tell all the truth I have to add that not everything I made was beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYour handbag here speaks to me rather deeply. You see, once when I was a little girl - five years old to be precise - I selected my own clothes for a day at school and partnered a red top with a purple skirt (or perhaps they were the other way around - either way, one was purple, the other red) and was scolded rather heavily by a family member for doing so. They said that red and purple were never to be worn in large doses together and sent me off to pick another outfit. Crestfallen, I did, but that experience stayed with me all through my life. It wasn't per se so much that I couldn't wear red and purple that day, but that anyone would have the audacity to stifle a child's creativity and budding fashion sense. I've since learned, as I've grown up, that these two colours can look fabulous together and have worn the pair numerous times. They partner well, whether in accessory form or on garments, and are - as you and I both prove - worn together (beautifully!).
ReplyDelete♥ Jessica
Red and purple are so nice together, so it's a lucky that fashion rules change fast! I am sure that you where lovable with the skirt and top you chose...and yes, you are right: some childhood experiences stay with us all the life long!!
DeleteYou are so lovely. I would love to meet you one day and have a chat and coffe or tea or whatever.

Oh, it would be wonderful to meet you Sacramento ! I hope, sooner or later. . .
DeleteYes!! Your necklace and earrings are better than cute! They are gorgeous Dan! I'm so thrilled that you demonstrated that your handbag is reversible. That is clever! I am making more of my own bags, and want to try this technique. Hugs to you and Mr. Bangio.
ReplyDeleteYour bags will be delightful, as you have so much talent in sewing...I hope to see them soon on your blog!!
DeleteP.s.
Mr Bangio loves hugs and...me too!!
