Sales...

A winter, cloudy day, and I need some colours to bright up my morning. Luckily, sales have recently brought into my closet a cardigan ( Max Mara ),  yellow, this time, and a pair of slim fitted pants ( Max Mara ). Did I need them?

the answer for me is YES. ( If it makes feel me good and helps economy... why not?! )

In any case, nothing new over here!

This is the cafe' where I have just taken my photos, in the quiet room upstairs

which overlooks the city. Everything looks so gray outside...

...but I need just two spare hours to have a quick look around...

...and think I made an unmissable bargain!!

  1. Dan. Garments of Max Mara, have a quality exceptional. So buy on sale is a success.
Saffron yellow is beautiful and serves to brighten the gray days.
And the pants you is perfect. Have a sculptural type and both together are beautiful.
The necklace I love, besides being beautiful is what you need your look.
I see you've released your new handbag.
Your coffee is lovely. Sure, when you are there, do not want to leave.

  4. Very nice! One of the great things about a sweater that color is that it helps brighten the gray days of winter, but also crosses over nicely to spring. I did take advantage of a couple of sales online, one thing for this time of year and two for spring/summer, gives me something to look forward to :)

  7. You have the perfect figure for those pants.

I will tell my husband the next time (okay yesterday and the day before) when I need to buy something that I'm just doing my duty supporting the economy. I'm sure he'll understand : ) And if not, I'll just say Dan told me so.

    bisous

  8. Your coat is beautiful, looks very elegant. The neck hair is cute. The look that combines yellow and gray I really like, is a touch of color in the winter. The coffee seems a very relaxed place.

  9. Beautiful, perfect... the coat, the trousers, the cardigan. And ..... the necklace ! You will have to buy me a copy and I will transfer money. This looks so much like me beloved yellow one. Nice bright colour, nice big chains. I am green with envy haha.
A blogging friend (Aileen) went to Rome last month and I sent her on a mission for the necklace too. She came home with a cute but short one. Teal and lavender coloured. Nice too, for another purpose / outfit. No problem. But still in search for a long one.
And I am with you to support our local economy. What would happen to our countries if we were to stop buying? Everybody broke and nothing nice to look at.

    1. While I was posting the other day, I thought it could be in some ways your style... the colour of the cardigan, the skinny pants, the brand and, of course, the necklace...I sometimes wonder if you inspire me!
About the necklace, I have already find a shop where they probably will have something of the kind in many colours...I am keeping and eye on it ( I will let you know )

  14. Dear Dan, did you know that you're sporting one of my favourite colour combinations ever here? (Grey + mustard.) It's true, I just love that pairing, which seems to work well the whole year round, celebrating either the light or dark palette of a given season.

What a fun, chunky necklace to partner with it, too. I adore plastic chains like that. They remind me of a 21st century take on the classic 1930s and 40s Bakelite and Celluloid chain necklaces and bracelets.

You look chic and fantastic, as always, my dear friend!

Tons of hugs & many thanks for your tremendously touching comment on this weekend's post,
    ♥ Jessica
