New hairstyle in a sunny day ( with a touch of orange...)

We had a very rainy weather for Easter, so, when we saw on the weather forecast that a couple of sunny days were approaching, we got into the car and went to the seaside. When we were there, I first went  to my favourite hairdresser ( I have more than just one hairdresser!) for a trim

I am not too brave at the hairdresser's, so I didn't ask  a drastic cut

A better look, isn't it?

The mild temperature invited me to take  a walk ...

While I was around, in a joyful mood, I noticed this nice painting on a wall, which reminded me a beautiful nasturzio flower I had seen nearby

in the same orange colour of a beautiful nasturzio flower I had seen nearby

and also the colour of the boat on the beach

It was a pleasant "orange" day, I wish you had a nice day too...

  1. Hi Dan, these pictures are great! The first one is a stunner and does look like a beautiful day.Your hair look lovely, nice length for sure. Very pretty spring time outfit and I admire this coat. Here in the US we call this flower "Bird of Paradise" and it is sold sometimes in our floral shops. Fun to see it growing in nature. Orange is such a lively and happy color.

    1. Thank you very much for naming the flower in English! Now I know a new word! ( a little step ahead in the knowledge of your language...) Bird ofParadise is a very poetic name for a flower!

  2. The bright colors in those boats made the perfect backdrop! Your hair looks terrific, perhaps I need to find a second person to cut my hair, sometimes I'm not always 100% happy with my regular stylist.

  8. Yes indeed, compliments to your husband forctaking these wonderful photos. Is the necklace you are wearing red or orange? Tomorrow the whole of The Netherlands will be orange because of Kings day.
Lovely coat where your cute doggie is hiding behind.

    2. ... my husband send you many thanks!! ;-) ( He is a very kind man, who often takes my photos...)
The day we shot, there was a beautiful light, so everything was easier...
It is not easy to define the colour of my necklace...perhaps a shade of fuxia...
I always have some problems with my hair! ( too much, too dark, too thick, too...) very happy you find it lovely!
p.s. I don't know if you celebrate Kings day, but ... best wishes! ( or better said, enjoy the day!) .
In Italy the 25th of April is a national holiday ( which means no work!! ;-) )

  14. Looks like the perfect day to visit the seaside , love the colour in the boats. Your hair is lovely, clever girl having a back up hairdresser. The pastel colours of your coat, top and skirt are perfect on you.

  16. Gorgeously lovely setting for these photos!!! Goodness, how the sea has been calling my name for the past few months. It's a very good thing than that we may (if the forces of the universe are on our side) be headed to Vancouver and its glorious Pacific beaches a bit later this year. It's high time I did a photo shoot of my own in front of the ocean, instead of "just" a lake, river or creek (not that those aren't all wonderful, they are, but nothing tops the ocean in my books on the big body of water front).

Big hugs & tons of happy end of April wishes, dear Dan!

You look great and I am similar when it comes to the hairdresser... no drastic change probably because I never found a really good one!

    1. Many thanks, Annette! Not a good weather here too, recently... at the seaside we had two sunny days and a cloudy one... not too bad after all!
      P.s.
