Without tights!

Great day today! It is the first time this year I go out without tights!!

The fact is that I find them soooo unconfortable...

...and, as soon as I can, I take out of my closet a pair of sandals!

When I was looking for them, the other day, I decided it was also the time for my blue and white cotton little jacket

Which I am wearing here with a pair of blue pants

We are having very hot days recently, and the flowers are blooming everywhere

so I am explaining  to the old Bangio he should be quickly changing his hair! ( as he is still wearing his winter  fur )

while he patiently is waiting his turn to have a photo...dear, sweet friend!!

  1. Yay to warm weather! I'm still getting used to no tights season, the office I worked in had a policy about them, so I had to wear them year around for work--yuck. Now that I'm working on my own, I can wear what I want :) Laney is starting to leave her winter hair around the house in clumps, I think a trip to the groomer is in order very soon. Enjoy the weather! Those flowers are beautiful.

  2. Laney is a very beautiful dog...and her long hair is wonderful! But I understand what you mean... her hair everywhere can become a problem! I should take my Bangio to the groomer too...

  3. Good that you are having warm weather! Today here maybe 70 degrees, I breaking out the sandals too. Such a pretty jacket and cute sandal. these soft blue and grays look great on you. Mr. Bango looks like a true friend. How old is he? Our last cat lived to be 20, Miss Emma was a sweetie.

    1. Spring is the most pleasant season, isn't it? And it seems we both share a similar passion for sandals!!
No one can tell how old exactly Bangio is, he was an unlucky dog I took in a shelter...he has been with me for 14 years now , but he was at least one year when I brought him at home...I suspect he is about 16 !!

  4. You look great and I really love the blue tweed jacket which looks great with blue pants. I always have a problem finding regular pants (not jeans) that flatter the figure. Many of them have pockets in the worst spots or are too low in the rise. Mr. Bango looks like such a dear friend. I love animals and just adopted another kitty (Toby Tobias) after losing my dear cat Percy after 12 1/2 years.

    1. Thanks Rebecca! Blue and white is a classic combination of colours but always works! Yes, it's not very easy to find a pair of confortable pants which flatter the figure! ( that's probably why I don't wear them often)

You must be a generous person if adopted a kitty! And animals can bring much joy in our life...

    1. Thanks Josep! I bought both the jacket and the pants a couple of years ago, but as they are quite timeless, I wear them every spring ( and autumn )...

  6. Aw yes, isn't it wonderful to strip away the tights and go bare-legged. I see your bag :)
Super cool shoes. I could kick myself, I had a pair of suede sandals and I gave them away. Nice outfit Dan.

    1. Hi Glenda! My rule is : never give a pair of suede sandals away! :-) as I find suede is very soft and confortable...

  7. Beautiful jacket!! You did not mention the brand, but I don't really care. The jacket is beautiful, no matter what brand. Period.
All your other items, make it a perfect outfit: the sandals, the bag, the trousers... Well done.
I don't wear tights, I wear hold-ups. They are much more comfortable, more elegant (sexy) and more economical: if you have a hole in one leg, you still have the other leg which is fine. So two pairs are in effect three pairs.
Our dog Charlie is a dog which needs to be professionally trimmed twice a year. April 16 is the date for her next trim. In between trims she hardly sheds any hair. Such a wonderful dog. Oh sorry... How can I praise another dog when we have sweet Bangio... LOL

    1. I bought the jacket at the Max Mara outlet store two years ago ( I don't know exactly but I think it is by Marella )
Hold ups are very sexy indeed and I like them very much, but I am afraid they are even less confortable than tights ( I suppose because I don't use them )
I remember your dog which sometimes is in your posts...he seems a very calm, thoughtful boy...and, hence deserves your praises!!

I always go without tights when there is the slightest chance.

  10. What a gorgeous jacket with the little fringes, Dan!! I have been looking for one like it but have only seen them in photos and never in the store! If you ever want to sell it, I'll buy it! :-)

So happy that you rescued your little Bangio! Now he is a very lucky dog indeed!

Enjoy the sunshine and warm spring days.

  16. As much as I truly do love stockings and tights (and cute socks), there is something gloriously liberating about being freed from wearing them come the sunny days of spring. We're not quite there yet, but as spring has finally (slowly) started to grace our town with its presence again, I suspect it won't be too much longer now until we reach that stage - I can hardly wait and will be sure to have a vintage approved nail polish colour on my toes when it does! :)

Tons of hugs & many sincere thanks for both of your terrific blog comments today,
    ♥ Jessica
