When I started blogging, more than a year ago, my idea was to share beauty of little things that often go unnoticed...
Than, my first purpose changed a little, and I am realizing that, all my posts are recently been dedicated to my outfits...
Today I want to share the beauty of flowers and plants in a city!
And flowers on clothes...
Isn't this Dolce and Gabbana bathing suit delightful?
I love its elegant look...to say nothing of the lovable bag!!
But, what about me today?
Well, last week I bought a pair of vintage earring in a flea market...
They have the shape of beautiful white flowers ( are they supposed to be roses?)
I find them sooo nice!
I hope you like this post. It's very me!
What a lovely post Dan! I really appreciate that you've brought back this approach!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue!This was my idea at first, then something happened...I think these kind of posts are my favourite...I could alternate with those of my outfits...
DeleteI for one, really enjoy a lifestyle blog, and you could easily incorporate both outfit and lifestyle posts!
DeleteThis post made me smile and your close-up is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt is very nice for me to think that you, on the other part of the world, were smiling reading my post! Sharing thoughts makes the world a more beautiful place!
DeleteGreat pics and cute earrings! Kisses.

Yes, they are lovable!
DeleteDan I like your post.
ReplyDeleteI like the beauty of small things.
I like flowers
And I love that vintage bathing suit Dolce & Gabbana and also your vintage earrings.
These are details that make life more enjoyable.
kisses
Yes Curra, the world is full of beautiful details, and, if you look around... there are so many reasons to be happy!
DeleteAh Dan you look beautiful! What a gorgeous picture, lovely earrings. I like this post, seeing the things that are inspiring to you. I just can total stay away.

Thanks, Ann... I took many photos before having that one...I wanted to publish a post which told something about me in a different way...
ReplyDeletep.s.
I am very happy that you can't stay totally away from blogs!
So many things to adore in this post! The bathing suit is incredibly feminine as well as stylishly retro. Love! Your earrings truly are "you". What a find! And I love spring because of all the blooming color. This is a creative post and a delightful start to our gloomy and wet day.
ReplyDeleteKindly, Dana
...very glad that you like the post, Dana! Isn't it nice bring a grain of my world so far away?
DeleteThose earrings are pretty, and I pay a very little price for them...a real bargain!
I totally agree with you. Beauty in small things often don't get noticed. In The Netherlands we have a song saying: "it is the small things that really matter". This post is lovely. I always say that trees and flowers and green can make or break a town. Of course in Italy with so much sunshine, you see a lot more flowers than up here in the cold north, but still.
ReplyDeleteOur earrings or should I say clips, are beautiful. Can you keep them in (or on) all day? They really suit you.
Greetje
Hi, Greetje! Yes, I can wear the earrings the whole day long as they aren't heavy... they are so big that I don't need to wear any other jewels...
ReplyDeleteFunny...I have always imagined that in The Netherlands the cities were full of flowers! ( much more than in Italy )
p.s.
wise song! It is so right...
I love earrings, too! Especially in the winter time when polo necks hide my necks so that I angle for the attention to my ears. I love your chosen pieces!!

DeleteWhat a beautiful photo of you at the end. The earrings are beautiful but your smile is priceless!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca! Your comment is so kind! ( and I am sure you too are a smiling person )
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photos, and I agree that the bathing suit is gorgeous! The flowers are slow to bloom here, we did get to see some on vacation though. Your pictures will tide me over until ours are here.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the beautiful photos of your holiday, and...the grab...a berfect place where to wear the bathing suit! Our posts seem to complete each other!! :-)
DeleteLove your pictures..Our flowers have just begun..Cute bathing suit
ReplyDeleteHi, Missy, it's always a joy to hear you! Your wonderful garden will be soon an explosion of colours...that probably means extra job, but it's worth it!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this post particularly as a flower lover on the other side of the world just going into winter, lovely to see colour in a city. Your earrings are delightful on you, a great find.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jill! Blogging gives the opportunity to see new places and to know different habits, that's why I like to include photos of the city in my posts....
ReplyDeleteHow splendidly lovely that we were both in the mood to write about flowers lately, darling Dan. Is that wisteria in the first photo? I asked Tony before if he remembered seeing wisteria in Italy and he didn't (but then again, I wouldn't peg the sweet dear a a gardner, if you get my drift ;)), but I had a hunch that it might grow there because of the climate. It grows here in Penticton, in the desert-like climate, very well and was a mainstay in our backyard when I was a child.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs & tons thanks for all of your terrific recent blog comments,
♥ Jessica
Hi dear Jessica! Spring is the season of flowers, and they are very inspiring indeed!!
DeleteYes, the plant in the first photo is a wisteria...in the north of Italy, where I live, is quite common in the gardens of the old houses...( sometimes I suspect that men don't really listen when we women are talking... :-)
p.s.
your blog is soooo beautiful! ( And I love leaving comments...)
Flowers brings always joy in our life. Your vintage earings are so nice and you at ypour pictures are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the thinks are inspiring you is very intersting.
