A sunny day in the city and I noticed a new Liberty house...
...as I like that style, I took some photos...
Max&co. - Alberta Ferretti
it was the perfect day to wear my light blue top and grey pencil skirt
Fratelli Rossetti
it was the perfect day also to wear my best pumps!
And before leaving...can you remember the scrapbook that I bought last week?
Miu Miu-Hogan
...I have just drawn my first sketch!
Hola, very nice look and the house is beautiful, kisses
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you like, Jane!
DeleteThanks Mary!
ReplyDeleteDan, How beautiful the gate of that house.
ReplyDeleteThese buildings have something special to me also attract me ..
Alberta Ferreti Your body is beautiful and I love the combination of light blue and gray.
In Spain the heat is gone and suddenly become the crazy days of spring. It rains and the sun shines at unpredictable intervals.
You are very pretty.
Do you like your new book?
kisses
Hi Curra! The same weather here...one day it's rainy and cold, the other day it's sunny and hot! Quite annoying, isn't it?
DeleteOld building always attract me too...I think it is the fascination of past time!
I love the ornate gate you're posing in front of. Dan, you look adorable and sexy in this cute peplum.
ReplyDeleteI have been taking out of my closet the sleeveless tops recently, and I have been happy to find... old acquaitances of mine!! Now I am waiting for more summer days!
DeleteWhat a beautiful peplum top. I envy you for being able to wear sleeveless
ReplyDeletetops. I am passed that that stage. At least if I don't want to show arms which are older than they should be for my age. (Or the age I pretend to still be haha.) The pumps are great as is the combination. Well done. I would not have thought of this colour combination and it works so well. As for your sketch (how wonderful to be so creative)... can I have those shoes and that bag????
Greetje
Hi dear Greatje! My arms are not perfect , and you can see the sign of the time on them...but at the moment I don't care too much...I feel myself a lady and ladies are not young! So I can be indulgent with my body...( sometimes I feel I am a bit too complicated! )
DeleteI love sketching... the only problem is that in these days I am very busy at work!
( eagerly waiting for holidays!)
p.s.
I wonder if I will ever be able to buy a Miu Miu bag! ( which, on the other hand, doesn't represent a big problem for me neither!! ) :-)
You are so right. I must adopt this attitude:ladies are not young.
DeleteOh Dan, you have a lovely and artistic drawing style! I like your drawing very much, and with the collage of bag and shoes, brilliant! I'm with Greetje...the shoes and the bag are coveted. You look lovely!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Sue! There are wonderful accessories around and I love including them in my sketches...( even if their prices are often unaffordable for me!! )
DeleteCute outfit, it looks like the weather is very nice in Torino. And those shoes--gorgeous!!! I love the trim on them, sort of a spectator style trim. The drawing is great, is the bag in it one you have or one you want?
ReplyDeleteWell, I have neighter the bag nor the shoe of my sketch ... if I only think at their price I feel bad!
DeleteThe weather here is very spring...a day is rainy and cold and the following it is sunny and hot! The day of the photo it seemed to be summer!! ( But yesterday I took out of my closet a wollen sweater again...)
OK you've outdone yourself. Not only are you a fashion plate but you are a first rate artist! I love your sketch and it will be perfect in the book. I'm so glad you shared your first and please continue. I'm amazed. You look smashing in a pencil skirt.
ReplyDelete...and you are the kindest person, Dana! I have many hobbies which make pleasant my spare time, the only problem at the moment is that I have very little!
DeleteThere will be much time soon...( I am already thinking of my looooong summer holidays! )
Pretty top Dan and I like the way it echos your great shoes! Lovely drawing too. Pastel with gray is so pretty on you. Looks like a beautiful day and what a gorgeous building.

ReplyDelete♥ carmen
Hi Carmen! I used to draw when I was a teen ager, then I stopped. When I started blogging I brushed up my old hobby...of course I draw just for fun! I am glad that you like!
DeleteYes, Ann, it was a delightful day indeed! Both for the hot temperatures, and for the walk we did. The fact is that, being a working woman, I consider my spare time very precious, and try to enjoy every single moment of it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't noticed the echo between my top and shoes, but yes, there is ! You have a very good eye for details!
You are very talented, Dan! Love to see more of your sketches.
ReplyDeleteGreat feminine look. The peplum top is lovely with your pencil skirt. And your shoes are awesome!

ReplyDeleteThe sketching is so fantastic dear Dan. Love it.
Yes Cla, almost every colour goes nicely with my neutral tone shoes...that is an extra reason why I love them!!
DeleteLove your sketch...Cute handbag
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's always a pleasure for me to read your comments...
DeleteHello dear Dan, those pumps - easy to see why you dub them your best ones - are incredibly lovely. Equal parts glam and cute, with some serious allure thrown in for good measure. Stunning! As is, I should add, your wonderful light blue top. That colour looks radiant on you, my stylish friend!
ReplyDeleteTons of hugs & happy end of May wishes,
♥ Jessica
The shoes have a sort of trim that looks like an embroidery, I think that is why they are my favourite!
DeleteI love, love your sketch. You are such a talented woman.
