Another asymmetrical dress...

I love dresses! The reason is that I find them extremely comfortable!
A more reason is the little time it takes me to get ready!
Especially in summer...

when I need to add nothing more that some cute jewelry

Armani

and one of my many handbags!

( by the way...today I have chosen a tiny courtyard for my pictures,

which is just next to a traditional pastry and cafe where I often stop for a delicious break)

Liviana Conti

at a close look, you can notice that my dress  is absolutely asymmetrical: one sleeve is shorter that the other, and the hem is longer at the front...

I have a slight different taste in dresses recently, and I realize that I was also wearing an asymmetrical dress last week...does it mean anything?   :-)

  1. And what a stylish stunner it is, dear Dan! That colour makes me think of two yummy summertime staples: pink Popsicles and freshly picked raspberries and is every bit as lovely as either of those. Great choice of accessories. The brown bag lets the dress' colour shine in a way that a black or other really dark hued one might not have, because it might have naturally drawn the eye in more than the fuschia frock.

    Happy start of summer wishes!

    1. Thanks, Jessica! I haven't noticed how well my bag matches the colour of my dress... but yes, a black one wouldn't have had the same effect...you surely have a great taste in choosing ( and in noticing ) accessories!!

  2. I don't know why, but that dress looks especially comfortable. Great color for summer too. I don't know if I could wear it though, the hem would drive me crazy, I'd always feel like something was wrong! LOL

    1. And, yes, it is very comfortable! Funny, but sometimes, when I wear that dress, I have the same feeling that something is wrong !! :-)

  3. I cannot think it means anything else than.... your taste is changing a bit haha. Gorgeous dress. I especially love the colour. The dress looks super on you. The a-symetrical things make it more interesting. I have had tops by Sarah Pacini who had one long sleeve and one shorter. Just go with the flow.
Where or when did you get that Armani bag?

    1. I know that brand! ( I think I am an expert of every single Italian fashion brand! ) Liviana Conti 's collections have something in common with Sarah Pacini's...

and now to my bag! I bought it in the last season's clearance at the Serravalle village...you know, I also am an expert in buying things at a lower price!! ( it requires time and good legs, but it's such a fatisfaction!! )

    2. That surprises me.... As far as I know you have a job, so in my book that means little time. I wonder how you manage that.

    3. Oh yes, I am a working woman, but I always can find some time for shopping! And the outlet villages are open on Sunday...

  4. Dan. Your dress is beautiful.
The asymmetrical finish makes it different.
    I like the raspberry color.
    Have a model's body.
You look so pretty and the background of the photos from that hallway, creates a delightful intimate effect.

    1. The colour of my dress is very bright and I am surprised myself I have bought it! If only I think I had the habit to wear only neutral colours!!

Well, I live in a small city in the north west of Italy, it has medieval origins and is a nice and quiet place where to live...

  6. You look completely gorgeous in it, as well! I love the asymmetrical edge, and you wear it so well. Women rarely wear dresses here, such a shame. But I do! So happy to have you as inspiration!

  16. You look so beautiful in the color and shape of the dress. It enhances your great figure. I often wonder how it would feel to live in a small town as opposed to the heart of New York City. Your neighborhood looks so interesting and provides a beautiful backdrop for your photos. I also love the way your delight in dressing is described.

  17. New York City! It sounds like a dream to me!
Living in a small city in Italy has many good sides ... ( quiet living, being among people you now by sight, have everything at handy...) but a big city like yours!! I imagine how many things you could tell me!
