I was considering the good sides of the current month ( everyone knows the bad ones : back to work and routine etc. )...
First of all, have you ever noticed how sharp is the light in sunny days?
And how sweet are grapes ! ( delicious! You can't imagine how many I eat! )
In September you can enjoy the blooming of Cyclamen ...
And then comes ... the best side : I can wear my socks again!!
O.k., o.k., I know, most of you don 't share my passion, but I am a real fan of socks!
And I have found this pair which are very similar in colour to my shoes!
( by the way, I am not wearing a skirt, but one of my dresses -very much comfortable- with a sweater on )
I will tell you other advantages of the period in future ( If I find any! ) ...
Cute look dear!ReplyDelete
I am glad that you like! Thanks for commenting, Maria!Delete
hahaha! Dan you are so cute with your sock love! I love the September light in my part of the world! In fact, I think I love everything about September! Dan you are wearing your yellow sweater beautifully!ReplyDelete
Hi, Sue! I know that many women don't like wearing socks, but ... I find them so cute!Delete
Hey Dan, I love your top and the colour of it. You look lovely. Today I'm wearing a jumper too, over a dress. If you love socks, I love various colour of tights :) That's so true, sunshine closer to winter is very sharp. It's quite blindig! Have a lovely weekend soon xReplyDelete
Chinwags and Tittle-Tattles
Hi, dear! It's nice to know that women all over the world can share their style!!Delete
Funny how you mentioned the light, I was just thinking about that a few days ago. Yet we still have days where it looks like spring instead of autumn. Those grapes look delicious!ReplyDelete
Funny! I like that sharp light , and, by the way, it also makes it easier for me to take good photos!Delete
Autumn is so beautiful. I love it when the sky is scattered with white, puffy clouds. And yes to the grapes! California has an amazing wine market and grape vines and wineries are everywhere. I look forward to having lunch and a little tasting on the vineyards.ReplyDelete
I also like socks, but I usually wear mine with flats. I haven't been brave enough to wear them with heels. I love this shade of yellow on you.
I agree about autumn, Glenda! It is really a wonderful season full of warm colours. What I find hard to cross is the transition period between summer and autumn...probably because for me the two seasons mean a completely different routine....Delete
Dan , do not share your love for socks with a skirt , but I think your sweater beautiful.ReplyDelete
September has beautiful sunsets. And the clouds in the sky, have very fun ways .
Besides grapes, figs and apples there taste better than ever .
I know that very few women share my passion, Curra! :-)Delete
I love ( almost ) every kind of fruit, and eat a huge quantity of it! The September's figs are delicious!!
Love your knit top!ReplyDelete
Hi Len, and thanks for commenting!ReplyDelete
These two colours work well together… and I am with you: we have to look at the good things :)ReplyDelete
I always try to be positive, and find the best sides of things...Delete
The jumper is terrific. Suits you so well. I think I will change my blond hair back to brunette.... I am afraid yellow might not suit me anymore, and I do love yellow so much.ReplyDelete
You say it is comfortable to wear the jumper over a dress. That surprises me. I would have thought it is too much, too thick. You look very cool in this outfit!
Well, my trick is to wear a sleeveless tight dress and a large soft sweater on it. I am actually in love with yellow in every shade...I have never tought, but, yes, it probably goes better with brunette hair ...Delete
I was in the Max Mara shop yesterday, to see what would be nice for next year haha. Not much I am afraid. And there was a lady in there, older than me, with a big full circle white leather skirt, a tight black top and black heels with black socks (or very tight booties). I fell totally in love with the style. Then I went back to this post and ... fell totally in love with the socks. It might just happen, you will see me with it as well. "Fickleness... thou name is woman".Delete
Funny story about the socks! And what a susprise it will be to see you wearing them ! Well, I think that combined with the right outfit, a pair of socks can be fantastic!Delete
Dan, what a great post! There is so much visual appeal; photos loaded with texture and color! I love the idea of pairing a soft sweater with a sleeveless dress. I love that the dress is sleek and so there is not a lot of bulk in the outfit. Of course, you wear it so well. What a lovely handbag! You have enviable accessories for sure. I love getting a feel for your beautiful part of the world. Thank you for choosing such perfect settings for your photos. Hugs! DanaReplyDelete
Hi, dear Dana! I love accessories because they can make the difference in an outfit...about the setting...do you believe that you insired that?? I always repeat that there is something perfect in imperfection ( I remember something of the kind you said in a post...)...look at the ruined wall...isn't that wall just perfect??Delete
Dear Dan, i like socks too, but more at the wintertime. Be cause i have always cold feet. Wearing a sweater over your dess is a great idea. You look pretty in your Outfit, yellow is a nice color for you.ReplyDelete
Have a nice sunday.
I think it must be quite cold in your part of the world during the winter, so ... welcome socks! :-)Delete
Dam Love the sweater over the dress, it is simple and chic! I also love socks, but they don't always fit or look well enough to post, these are perfect on you!ReplyDelete
Happy autumn, you are correct about the light!
Socks are warm and comfortable, and that's why I love them. Besides ... l have seen some wonderful fashion collection by Prada in which the models were wearing socks... they looked fantastic!Delete
Came across your blog through Coco's linkup - lovely blog. :) You look great. I'm not a fan of socks, but when both the shoe and socks are same colour, its ok. It could actually be mistaken as one. If you hadn't mention socks, I would've thought its boots you wearing. :)ReplyDelete
*Wanna follow each other by the way? Bless!*
I am glad to get acquainted with you, Missy! You are very welcome to my blog and ... why don't follow each other? :-)Delete
Appreciated and following back now. Looking forward to more posts. :)Delete
Next week, Missy!Delete
Lubię kolor żółty. Bardzo Ci w nim do twarzy. Piękne zdjęcia. Pozdrawiam.ReplyDelete
