My top five!

In sunny, still warm weather a colourful dress can be easily matched to a neutral colour jacket...

plain high heel shoes

and a black bag, which goes well with ( almost ) every outfit ...

and so far ... so good!

But,  the incoming cold days call for some new mix and match! These are my ideas according to what I have seen around...

Max Mara

A touch of green

Gucci

soft colours

Dolce e Gabbana

 a pinch of black

Bottega Veneta

a splash of yellow here and there

Valentino

and some red to brighten foggy days!

Have you already thought about what colours would you like to wear before long?

  1. Ciao cara! Lovely combination! The dress is very chic and I love the touch if yellow in the combo! The heels are also great even though they look not to comfy :) But hey, girl's gotta do what girl's gotta do :)
I love your suggestions for autumn! The pale pink one is my favourite! Wouldn't mind having it in my closet!

  14. Again a perfect outfit. Your dress is super and you have styled it very well. Of course with one of your fantastic necklaces. You know how to ease an outfit into fall. Love your black bag. My kind of bag. And I love your brown pumps. See, that is something I don't dare (nor think of): to wear brown shoes with a black bag and a blue/green dress. But it really looks good. I am trying to get better haha.
This Sunday I will post the bags we have seen at the Bag Museum in Amsterdam. And next week you will see the black and white dress by Max Mara.
As for your fall examples: I very much like the Bottega Veneta dress, but would probably never buy it. The Max Mara green clothes give me hope for next year... haha.
I totally forgot to scout at the outlet for black skinnies by Weekend Max Mara. I have a pair and they are great. Never mind, I have more than enough.

    1. In my opinion Max Mara slim fit pants are the best! I love them as they are neither too large nor too thight... simply perfect! I have just seen your post, and I have enjoyed seeing again the museum!
      p.s.
I often also match black and blue... which probably many women don't like together. But, I find it very good... ( Armani docet! )

  15. Beautiful look, Dan! I'd instantly wear this outfit to the office. Currently we are enjoying wonderful weather (so much better than back in August!) and I can still wear dresses with pumps without tights.

  16. Very pretty dress! I've already worn some of my fall/winter clothing but now it's warm again, so back to more summerlike clothing. I'm not looking forward to specific colors so much as I am specific pieces, especially some of my heavy sweaters. But I'm not rushing winter!

Our weather has been changeable: one weekend so hot we went to the beach and today cool and raining. Many lovely days to enjoy biking and walks by the river.

    Have a fashionable week!
