National holiday in Italy, and having three days off, we decided for a weekend to the seaside
The weather was fine and some people were having a swim
For me just sunbathing as I am waiting for warmer water... which means at least the end of June!
So, with plenty of time, I lifted up my eyes and admired the varity of the balconies
beautifully enriched with flowers
of different kind...
I walked through the city on block heels
wearing a new pair of earrings ( husband's present from Expo )
Awaiting to show a tanned skin soon!!
:-)
You look so classy. Love the shoes! Have a great day!

DeleteWhat lovely scenery to sit and enjoy, the balconies are beautiful! I really like those earrings too, they remind me of the traditional knot work that you see a lot in New England.
ReplyDeleteReally? Mine come from South Corea. At the Universal Expo of Milan there are many countries selling traditional items ...

Yes, and they have a beautiful bright colour... spending some days at the seaside is very ... "recharging"!!

DeleteLove the shoes, love the weather, love the buildings, love the sea! Have a wonderful summer :)

DeleteWhat a wonderful way to spend a three day holiday! Those shoes... I adore them! Every time you take photographs of Italian cities and towns there are the most delightful arrays of flowers. It seems to me that many people take pride in gardening in tiny spaces.
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning, as always!
Balconies full of flowers always attract my attention! They can make a city charming....
DeleteSounds like the perfect spot to spend a few days. Wonderful buildings with those balconies and the pretty flowers. Your black dress looks stunning on you , to say nothing of your sandals and earrings, clever husband.
ReplyDeleteIt is always so lovely to unwrap an unexpected present!!
DeleteOooh, Cinque Terre is an area of Italy that I so want to visit! Your beach photos are a reminder! And the balconies!!! So lovely! I have a little patch of garden and I love to plant flowers in the spring for summer long blooms!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice little getaway....sun, sea...and looking chic and confident all the while! Nice to see you Dan!
Every year Cinque Terre attract visitors and foreigners seem to enjoy the simple living there ... I hope you will plan a journey there, and ... that your journey will also include the visit of Turin!
