In love with the city!

Hi! My weekly post comes a little late because of the annoying heat of last days!
( it made impossible enjoy a day in the open air )
but today I am ready for a walk in search of something... cute to post!

As some of you know, Turin is the city where I studied and where I often go for many reasons...

Probably it's not very famous abroad, but it's  lovely and if you slow down the step and you look around, reveals all its  hidden beauty!

In a nice courtyard I discover a tiny shop of handmade bags

( my huge Aquascutum bag, still looks new, so I didn't buy another one )

I was wearing the flats I have posted a couple of weeks ago.

I am sooooo used to wear high heels that I felt odd in flats!

but at least...my t-shirt with printed birds was in perfect harmony with the place!
:-)

  1. Your skirt looks exactly like my Anthro dress! http://suzannecarillo.com/can-you-wear-cute-dresses-over-40/

I love the whole outfit! Please just pop it all in my closet.

  3. Lovely as always dan :) Do you have Instagram? Start one if you don't so you can post more of your outfits, shoes, bags, and looks, and reach more audience. I remember you liked seeing me in one of my posts. I post more fashion-y stuff and some photos of myself in my Instagram account. If you ever get the chance, my account is called chinwagsandtittletattles. Hope to see you there :)

    1. I don't have Instagram yet. The fact is that my blog needs a lot of care and I am not sure I could find extra time for the net at the moment ...but surely I will glance at your photos as...I am very curious!!!

    1. The necklace is made of wood beads, so, despite of their size, it is quite light!

  7. Looking stylish, elegant and totally cool. Quite an accomplishment in this heat. You even look good in flat shoes wow. I cannot do that. By the look of it, your feet have a high arch. That helps a lot. I have flat feet and a low arch... Bummer.
I love all items of your outfit. Is this the similar skirt you talked about in your comment on my Marella skirt?

    1. Yes, this is the skirt...It's Marella's as well, but of a previous collection as I have bought it at the outlet. I bought because I remembered how beautiful you looked in yours! ( As you can see, we keep on influencing each other! )

You have got a full competence on foot arch! I have always tought that there was only one kind of it! :-)

  8. Turin looks to have some really interesting areas. You look as stylish as ever , even in the Summer heat. I love your skirt and the top with the birds is so sweet. I know they aren't your usual heels but those flats are just as elegant.

  9. I have a real fondness for anything with a bird themed print, so I am loving that shirt! Those first photos of the doorway are beautiful too. When I hear Turin, I think of the shroud. It's somewhere I have always wanted to go as well as Florence. One of these days!

It can sound unbelievable but...I haven't seen the shroud yet!

  10. Simple yet delightful pattern mixing. Neither the skirt or the top are overpowering each other. And that necklace is really stunning.

    1. A skirt is a very versatile piece of clothing and it's easy to have a different look only changing tops and accessories! I am glad that you like! Thanks for commenting...
