About Autumn ...




We are officially in Autumn now. Time to put away sleeveless t-shirts and  the perfect weather for wearing a shirt, here.


What I  regret  is that I have to say goodbye to my  sandals and my feet ... seem to reject every other kind of  shoes at the moment! 


Better start with a pair of very soft ones...


Of course, early in the morning I also need a light weight jacket ...


Those of you who regularly  read my posts know that I try to see the flip side of things and so I was wondering what are the three best sides of the just started season ...


1. Walking in the afternoon when the light of the day decreases and the colours look a bit different
(  when daylight saving  time starts and the afternoon gets dark early, which in my opinion is a bit melancholic but very sweet  )


2. The day of my birthday  is  approaching!!
( I was born in November )


3. The Autumn issue of Vogue Accessories in on sale!!!


So ... very welcome back, Autumn!!

      At the end of September I can't wait to wear something different but not too dark ... Light gray and white is a good combination now!

    I also love the season, because i love fall clothes and the bit of brisk air is refreshing! I adore your skirt and blouse, you look so classy ( I do not love that word, but it always fits you!)

    I love this outfit. I like how the black of the belt, the shoes, the emblem on your shirt, the handles of the bag tie, all this black, tie the whole outfit together.
    You did a good job on the shoes haha. They are fantastic.

      I didn't think about matching the black details in my outfit but, yes, they look like a link which tie the whole outfit! ( what a good eye you have!! )
      The shoes are perfectly cleaned, aren't they? ;-)

    That's such a nice transitional outfit! I love the new (?) handles for your bag. They look amazing with the black belt and the black in your shoes! My feet aren't happy with me either and reject most closed shoes at the moment...

    I love your positive outlook on life and the reminders why there is so much to love about fall!

      I have to confess that I couldn't resist the temptation to have ... also an autumnal version of the bag! The black patent leather handles are perfect for the incoming rainy days ...

    That looks like such an effortlessly chic outfit, Dan. I'm loving the jacket and the shoes, although I can understand it's hard saying goodbye to sandals. I have the same. My feet start hurting by just looking at closed shoes ;-) xxx

    I like the cooler temps, I'm so not a hot weather person. I also love that it turns into "pumpkin" season in the US with so many yummy things flavored that way.

    I enjoy the change of seasons as it gives a chance to rediscover old favourites and find something new to wear.I always like you in grey and white .Those shoes are quite something even though they are not your usual heels.Enjoy the week Dan.

    Love this outfit on you and the shoes are perfection. The lengthened shadows in fall are the perfect prelude to winter. I couldn't deal with a direct leap to cold, dark days. You look adorable dan!

    Looooove the shoes! They're so stylish and unique, and if they're comfortable as well, then you are lucky. As for me, I love the cooler temperatures because I love coats, tights, and cashmere. I'm always glad to stop sweating in the summertime! xx
