When do you start thinking about the new season's fashion suggestions?
Half of September for me often corresponds to the mood for changing...
I start thinking about the F/W collections and what will be the key pieces of my wardrobe.
So, while I was strolling about the city the other day, I realised that probably I wouldn't have used a bag with rope handles in winter.
(my O' Chic Bag )
A quick visit to the O' Shop suggested me the solution: faux fur and coordinated handles for a most winter Look!
My O'Bag is totally different now, isn't It?
Well, not the best combination with a pair of sandals as it is probably too early for a bag with fur!
But...
I couldn't resist to the temptation of wearing it for the first time!
I am quite sure that my bag will match nicely to most of my winter clothes...
Do you have any new ideas for the cold season?
I love the details. Very beautiful.

ReplyDeleteSei sempre gentile! I miei sandali hanno un bel tacco largo, a prova di ... sanpietrini!! :-)
DeleteThis is such a great fall transitional outfit. The colors are definitely fall but the clothing is wearable during these warmer temps. Love that top!
ReplyDeleteYes, burgundy is very versatile and goes well with most winter colours ... in my opinion ... one of the most interesting colours to create a well combined outfit!
DeleteI think it's whimsical to add the fur now---it's not like it's causing heat stroke, and it's fun!!

... it is starting raining here and the temperatures are getting lower : I can definitely use the winter version of my O'Bag now!! :-)
DeleteThat fur is just lovely! It is hard to decide when to change things over. I usually wait until October 1st, but sometimes the weather is still to nice. I did break down and buy a pretty burgundy coat for fall, so I'm anxious to get it out and wear it, but that might be a few weeks yet as our temperatures are still very warm.
ReplyDeleteBurgundy is a great colour for the cold season:it goes with everything. It will be hard to wait! In the meantime enjoy the last days of summer ...
DeleteYour outfit and your bag is totally lovely. Stylish yet youthful. A good transition into fall. Lovely colour combination. Your bag is indeed totally different. I love it. I have got my eyes on some fur for the Obag too. Did I tell you there are TWO Obag shops in Haarlem?? Haha. Although the one in Turin had far better combinations. Much more creative, much more tempting. Italian creativity right? Or they obey the instructions and examples of headquarters better.
ReplyDeleteThe bronze choice was a good one Dan. Works with everything.

Yes, bronze goes well both with summery and winter details. Of course they show sooooo beautiful new colours that are tempting me! The faux fur is really soft and lovely! The only downside is the price...I wonder if in the shops in Haarlem items have a different price ...
DeleteI bet not. I think the Obag shop in Haarlem might even be pricier. I will let you know. They didn't have any (faux) fur yet...
DeleteWhat a fun bag!
ReplyDeleteSo cool that you can change it up.
bisous

Yes, it is funny to change the accessories and have a look always different!
DeleteLove the colours of your outfit and your bag in winter mode! That's just fabulous! xxx
ReplyDeleteI have many beautiful bags, but at the moment...I only have eyes for my O'Bag!! :-)
DeleteWho could resist wearing the bag? It's wonderful and you can getaway with it regardless of weather. Absolutely love your shoes!
ReplyDeleteHi, dear Dana! The block heel of my sandals is perfect for walking on cobblestones... no risks to ruin them!!
DeleteDan, I adore the change in the bag when you added fuax fur and new handles! I see lots of fur and faux fur here, as it is cold today and NYFW is here, too! Love the sandals, and the deep wine top! Very pretty outfit!

This is a very simple outfit. I wanted to match something of it with the new accessories of my bag...burgundy is a lovely colour!
DeleteWhat a wonderful way to transition into fall clothing. I think you have really hit upon the solution, more fall colors and textures although it is not really a heavy outfit. By the way, I believe that exquisite bracelet might be a Dan Design - it is great!!
ReplyDeleteYes Rebecca, I made the bracelet ! Thanks for your beautiful comment ...
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely transition to fall outfit! I love how you transformed your bag! Beautiful!

Adding the fur and the handles in a similar colour, I created my perfect wintery version of the bag! ( Sooooo fun!!! )
DeleteI love the addition of the faux fur to the bag. Just a hint of things to come. And although the outfit is Summer in content - top and trousers, no jacket, the colours make it perfect for mid September. I love berry with navy - rich and satisfying.
ReplyDeleteAutumn for me doesn't really get going until the end of September - I'm hanging on for as long as possible to the end of Summer!

Yes, the combination of berry and navy is beautiful. I think I will be wearing it often in the next seasons...
DeleteThanks for commenting!
Don't blame you one bit for wanting to bring out your bag, it really is so gorgeous both its colour and fur make it so special. We are going into Spring so the weather dictates what I wear as its neither warm or cool.
ReplyDeleteI am envying you dear Jill who are about to enjoy the wonderful summery feelings and long, light days ...
DeleteMany thanks, dear!
