Three good reasons

Hi! I am some days late with the post, but I have at least three good reasons for that!

First, I enjoyed some days in the tiny village not far away from the coast
where I often go when I need rest

To be precise, when I say rest ... I mean silence, quiet living and doing really nothing!
As you can guess from the photos...this is the right place for that!!

The second reason for my late posting is that ... when I go there I take only necessary stuff!

A few jewels, very few accessories, very simple clothes. I have nothing which makes a post interesting!

And finally, here comes the third reason : the salt water of the nearby sea,sun and the heat,
the  ( pleasant) laziness of my days there...have ( bad ) effects on my look!

In a word, it took me time get some good photos!

But holidays are holidays, right??   :-)
I only wonder ...
Am I the only one who  prefer spending summer, torrid days away from the crazy world ??

  4. No bad effects there Dan, you look the epitome of Italian chic....as always.
It is 32 degrees here today and I could not possibly post a photo of myself.
Gingham is so in vogue this summer and black seems to be THE colour. That village looks very pretty from what we can see. x

To be honest...I don' t always look elegant on holiday. As you said, with high temperatures it isn't easy to look nice!! :-)
      P.s.
I will surely post again from that pretty village, stay tuned!

  6. I like your outfit. Gingham is so fresh. Your asymmetric red skirt from your previous post would look beautiful against the grey stone in this lovely setting. Enjoy your seaside holiday.

    1. Gingham print is cute, I love it too but the fabric of my skirt is not for the city because it is a little see-through. I wear it when I am at the seaside...

  9. Funny how when you discover a new blogger, you find yourself hanging on from one post to the next! Glad you're back from your idyllic break to show us your stylishly simple outfit. I so love that you chose dainty shoes for it, rather than chunky. But then, you know I'm a fan of your shoe selection, Dan!

    1. You are a kind person. I am glad that you like my posts and sorry if sometimes I am a bit late. There are weeks when I can't take photos and I hardly keep extra photos to use in that case ... I am very bad at planning things in advance!!

    1. So very true, Elle. Is my blog that must follow my life, not the contrary!!
When I stay in the village, I often regret not having my stuff with me. But, on the other hand I don't like carrying heavy suitcases either!! :-)
Very glad that you liked the post!

  15. What a lovely, quiet place to get away Dan! You look beautiful as always and the surrounding looks perfect! I have a black and white summer skirt that I am planning to take on my holidays to New York City. It will not be a quiet holiday but I love NYC very much. When I want quiet, I go to my summer place in my back porch overlooking the garden. We all do need peace and quiet for our sanity. ;-)
