End of August in Perinaldo


We are almost at the end of August : I must pile up as much beauty as I can.


Fill my eyes with memories


and my heart with emotions.


I will bring them back in mind little by little during the winter


And they will warm me long.


Today I am visiting the little village of Perinaldo
( Liguria region )


It's one of those tousands villages which  show the true soul of my country.


Away from the  famous touristic resorts there are no big hotels but stone houses


Frescoes in the alleys 


And the voice of old fountains ...


Look at my back : the sea is shining!
Tomorrow a whole day on the beach ...

    Another beautiful backdrop for you,Daniel. With so many beautiful towns and villages, how DO you choose, and how DO you manage to get any work done?!!
    What a lovely black dress with some stylishly unusual ruching, a unique piece and perfect for what was no doubt another hot day. I was on the beach too today, not many more August beach days left 😢 X.

      Le Cinque Terre are famous for their beautiful landscapes. To be honest ... I have never been there yet! I am glad that you enjoyed your journey!

    Italy is sooooo beautiful. That dusty pink wall which is your background just takes your breath away. And the rest as well of course. I see that you are being very fashionable with your wicker bag. Cute. And that dress is a very modern version of a little black dress. Well done.

      I try to share the best side of my country which I often think is very crazy!!
      The wicker bag is my second coffa.It is very smaller than the one I bought online. I embroidered it myself and use at the sea.
      The dress has an asymmetric shape not well visible in the photos ,I am afraid...

      I have never been to Scotland yet, but I am sure that there are many interesting and beautiful places to visit there...probably the weather is a bit more cloudy though!

      I wear black in the hot season when I am tanned and can wear clothes with a wide neckline. In my opinion in Winter black clothes don't suit me ...

    Dan, this town is just so picture postcard pretty with its coloured buildings, frescoes and fountains. It must have been so wonderful to wander without battling the tourist hoardes. Sure you will have many memories to get you through Winter. I loved your stylish black dress, perfect for a hot day.Hope you enjoyed that beach time.
