The most modern of my skirts


Hello darlings!  I am wearing today the most modern of my skirts


Away from the heat of the city I went to Liguria region. I took photos at a seaside resort called Bordighera.
Staying by the see is always a relief when it's too hot !


Here it is my super modern skirt . As you see it has a very loose waist closed by a rope
( please note my necklace. Greetje bought it for me in one of her visit to Turin. 
It's very summery and soooo chic! )

A medium sized bag which I can carry on my shoulder and having my hands free

I found a happy medium between high heels and flat shoes 
Which is at the moment my style...


The top is knitted and comfortable. It is not visible in photos,  but it has a very accurate manifacture that looks like a lace. I couldn't resist to have it ( Falconeri )  even if iI I am not a fan of sleveeless top.
I decided to buy it after thinking for a while . 
At the end I am satisfied with the purchase. 


Bordighera is where I bought my skirt a couple of weeks ago
( nice shops here, with clothes a bit different from those I usually buy )


Summer is a good time for experimenting something different.
Not bad going out of comfort zone when you are on holiday, right?

    I love your skirt.

    Are you enjoying the hot weather? In the UK it is wet and cool - no summer at all - I am still regularly wearing trousers rather than summer dresses and skirts!

      To be honest...I am melting!! A bit fed up with very hot weather. 40°C are too much for me!!

      The outfit is a bit more casual than my usual ones. But with a pair of feminine sandals and a big necklace it is OK...

    That is a really interesting skirt! And what you paired it with for summer is perfect, but I can also see this paired up with a sweater and different accessories for a perfect autumn look as well. Good choice!

    Very chic AND modern outfit. I love it. And I think you are mistaken thinking I bought you the necklace. I have no recollection of that. The Iceberg )wow) bag is a beauty. I like that midern loose fit of the skirt. Swell with moderate heels.

    What a special skirt, a great cut and length and that open waistband must be really cool in your baking temperatures. Looks neat and cool with the black top. Hope the jet stream shifts back soon and gives us both the summer we want and deserve!

    I really love your skirt , its colour and more relaxed style perfect for warm Summer days. The sleeveless top is the perfect match and so good with the necklace . The shoes are also great with the medium heel , comfortable but so stylish.
