Hello! A hot, summer afternoon here and , despite the heat, I have decided to wear a shirt ( which for me is one of the most unconfortable things to wear in summer! ). It's a linen, turquoise one with a ribbon to tie on the front. Since the shirt has no sleeves it is bearable! I have also a silk, grey skirt on.
Today my sister has come to see me and we have decided to walk and reach a dear place to take some photos...
There, a lady has helped to show my neckace
The place in 1700 was a manor house surrounded by orchards. Recently it was restored and around the garden ( which in part is a courtyard ) overlook some apartments.
It is a special, dear, place to me because my parents live there,
and my mother spends most of her time in the garden...
Beautiful on many levels. The bright blouse with your grey silk is a lovely and vibrant contrast. The tie on the blouse shows your figure beautifully. Plus to live in such history, the oldest building in my area was built in the 1890's. Looks like your parent live in wonderful place with garden that would be a delight to tend.

Minnesota must be a wonderful country as your photos reveal, but so different from Italy. I like also modern architecture, and all the buildings you share in your blog.
DeleteDan the place looks beautiful and full of charm. If your parents also live there, sure you still like more.
ReplyDeleteAncient gardens with stone statues seem always a nice place.
Your blouse is very pretty.
It is true that they warm, but I feel great and combines great with gray silk skirt.
You look beautiful.
Kisses
I am glad that you like the place, in hot days it is fresh and quiet.
DeleteI usually wear dresses because I find them more confortable than shirts and skirts. But my blouse has a summer colour which I like...
Hi Maria, and thanks...
ReplyDeleteGreat combination..The area in which you live is full of charm..
ReplyDeleteIn spring, the house is covered with roses and is a real sight. . .
DeleteBeautiful place to live, I'm sure your mother is very happy there. And I love that beautiful blue blouse, especially the bow at the waist, so original. You look great!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosy, I like almost everything which has a bow!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, love all the flowers and greenery. I got a laugh out of your "model" for the necklace!
ReplyDeleteThat was a funny idea, but it worked so well!
ReplyDeleteLucky parents... What a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteAnd you look lovely too. That shirt might be less comfortable than a T-shirt, but is looks so elegant. Very nicely combined with that pretty silk skirt.
Yes Greetje, they are lucky. . . what I like more of my shirt is its colour. . .
DeleteWonderful blue shirt, and glorious always, you, dear friend.

Hi Sacramento, I love turquoise in summer. . .
DeleteSuch a peacefully beautiful garden - it's no wonder your dear mom spends much of her time outside in it. I'd really want to do the same if I had a garden even a fraction as lovely (we live in a condo and don't have a backyard - I miss having one, it's been many years since my last).
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is wonderfully sophisticated and beautiful. I just adore that shade of vibrant turquoise blue. It's one of the happiest colours in the world to my mind.
Wishing you a gorgeous Monday & week ahead, sweet lady!
♥ Jessica
Hi Jessica, I live in a condo too, so no garden for me. I would like to have a terrace!
ReplyDeleteI love wearing turquoise in summer. . .
Such a beautiful place where your parents leave! Great pictures, and you are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi GeeGee, I was happy to read your kind comment. That garden is a nice place to take pictures. . .
