Just a light dress...


In the small town where I live, there are several houses which were builded in early 900. I started appreciating their beauty only recently and now I find they have a delicate grace...

Here in Italy, summer is progressing with warm and sunny days and I happen to spend my time strolling and looking around. I love these lazy days in which I can enjoy tiny  pleasures as the fresh morning breeze or my daily  coffee...


I have plenty of time to dedicate to my hobbies and the purse you can see is something I made myself last year but I had never used until now because I never comleted it.



It is a crocheted bag with an embroidery on the front side ( that I use as a pocket to keep in handy my keys and sunglasses ).
Last week I have changed handles and put these bamboo ones which I find beautiful...


To remain to floral theme I am wearing a pair of pink earrings and my glass necklace  ( which I am overusing! )

A light, cotton dress is everything I need in summer: no cardigan, no jacket, nothing more until autumn!

    Your city must be beautiful, like most Italian cities. I love the LWD, little white dresses, are gorgeous and you will see beautiful and elegant with them. That cute bag, you're a great artist. Your earrings are great and you are very well. I take it you say goodbye until after the summer, will not post more posts?

    I love your comment, Josep. My bag has been in my closet for over a year because I didn't like it, so I am glad you find it cute. And finally. . . I am going to post during the summer, but you will probably see me just wearing light simple dresses as the one I am wearing in this post because here is getting hotter and hotter!

    Hi Sue, I have been recently to the sea in Liguria and I am a lillte tanned.That's why you see the contrast between my skin and the white of my dress. Europe is really the Old Continent and an American eye can note it at first sight!

    Don't worry about overusing your necklace. I stil like seeing it. Lovely with those earrings and the bag. Ties everything together. Of course I like the dress (Max Mara again). It is not my white dress from Sportmax, but we are getting close.
    The bag is beautiful. My goodness what a lot of work. I skipped this sort of work immediately when I left school.

    Yes Greetje, our white dresses share the same style ( and I love yours! ).
    The opposite happened to me with crochet: I started only recently! ( but I am not very good at. . . )

      Hi Jessica, the summer here is becoming quite hot,and I have to store my cardigans and jackets for a while. I am trying "to keep my style" wearing just a cotton dress or a linen shirt ( but it isn't always so easy!). It is a pleasure for me to read every one of your so special comments...and it is very nice to be your Italian fashion muse!

    Beautiful bag! It make so special a kind of simple (although noble) dress.
    Summer in Italy is too hot for me sometimes, however, I enjoyed evenings with a glass of prosecco!
