Birthday week!



I ended my last post saying that a special week was coming for me...

...the fact is that on the 10th  November was my birthday!


What a surprise when I turned on my computer: my Google page said : Buon compleanno       Daniela! ( that means Happy Birthday dan ), very nice indeed!
I usually  celebrate the event for some days. A single  day goes by too quickly, and I have been waiting an entire year!


I need a day to have a party, one day is dedicated to the presents and finally I spend a third one to have a romantic day with my husband...( to be honest there is also a fourth day at work )


I am sure you have already guessed was I  asked my husband as a present: a wonderful, stylish, feminine, smart ... new bag!!

And, have you noticed my new, faux fur collar? 


It is warm and soft and I wear it as an alternative to the scarf!

      Thanks Annette, during my birthday week I always feel a special person and I enjoy every single moment of it. In those days also ordinary things seem to be different!

      Hi Sue and thanks! I had very nice days, and I have been feeling happy and lucky. To open the bag I have to pull slightly the bow on the top and I find that so cute!
      I like you might make yourself a similar collar. In mine there are sparkling beads sewn here and there (I am not sure they are visible in the photo )

    Happy Birthday Dan! Looks like we both celebrate the same milestone next year--we have to plan something special. I LOVE the bag, (imagine that?!) and it looks so stylish with your coat and fur collar. A friend of mine celebrates her birthday the entire week, she calls it "Birthday Gala Week".

    Indeed what a Google surprise. I am going to pay attention when it is my birthday (April 16).
    And of course : congratulations and wishing you many happy and healthy years to come.
    I like it that you enjoy your birthday so much. I never pay attention to it. Might be missing out here.
    Your bag and fur scarf are both really beautiful. What a great birthday presents. I agree with Ann that this scarf will "jazz up" any coat. And the bag is a classic. Will bring you lots of compliments for a long time.

      Thank you, Greetje. I really couldn't believe my eyes when my husband told me they wished me happy birthday on the Google page! At first I thought it was some official celebration, then I saw my name!
      My birthday is a very important day ( for me of course! ) and I like to celebrate it. Funny to read that you don't pay attention to yours!
