Like a tourist...

Ilary-Prada

There is something unpleasant in taking photos in a small city...people find it unusual!

I generally don't care too much, but for this post I went  to Torino to snap some pictures ( also to have a little change )

In the past, ( not many years ago ), Torino has always been only the city of Fiat and many activivities were related to that industry...

...then came the Olimpic Winter Games of 2006, and it was the start of the tourism

Today it's quite common to see people taking photos or going around with city maps...

...so no one  realized I was a false tourist and I could snap without being noticed...my mission was accomplished!!    ;-)

P.s.
if you celebrate it...best wishes for a wonderful Easter!

  3. Very chic look, Dan! I live in a small town and in the beginning I was shy when we took blog photos but in the meantime I usually don't care any longer when people are looking or commenting. We are frequently asked "shall I take a photo of both of you?" which of course is very kind and we politely thank them that it is not necessary this time...;-)

  6. Very pretty suit Dan, I like the light colors with your blouse. This outfit looks pretty with your bag and shoes. Nice to see the sunshine. It sure can be uncomfortable if people are watching you take pictures. I know how that feels.

  8. Some nice photos and a look that I love. I love these sets of skirt and jacket, so elegant and so feminine. Yours is very soft and delicate, and looks frankly pretty. The blouse is lovely in the outfit, great combination. A lovely post.

    1. It was a wonderful sunny day when I snapped the photos, and there were very little people in the square ... so it was perfect at that moment!

  13. It's hard to believe that another Easter has come and gone again already! I do love though that that means that we can now sport, thanks to the return of warmer weather, lighter weight suits like the timelessly beautiful one you're wearing here. I really like this serene, earthy shade of ivory on you, dear Dan. It brings out the tones in your brunette locks marvelously!

Tons of hugs & happy end of April wishes,

  18. You would be among the most chic tourists in Torino. Tourists tend to sport fanny packs and camera bags and are not dressed for success from head to toe as you are :) I love your posts. In my part of the world we all dress like an Eddie Bauer catalog because as I write it's 45 degrees (f) and windy. You have a real-world elegance.
