Moschino
After a quite warm winter and no snow at all, we are now having very nice sunny days ( a spring time which isn't so common in the North West of Italy )
The weather encourages to wear light weight clothes, and soft colours...
Armani
and makes me feel a special joy...( the same probably feels a lizard just waked up, which enjoys its staying under the sun )
The breeze and a stronger light : that's spring!
Twin-set
But, as this is also the season of changings of weather,
for me the best outfit is made of layers ( and that means a cardigan, a shirt and a skirt ).
A bad side of spring? ... The strong light is probably the reason why my photos aren't of a too high quality! I am not used to such a strong light yet!!
oooo--you look awesome! great use of layers!
ReplyDeleteHi! Many thanks for your kind comment!!
DeleteI see your bag!! I love the reverse detail of the top. Really cool.
ReplyDeleteThat bag is becoming a key piece of my spring outfits!
DeleteWell I can see the clothes are gorgeous and of high quality, this is one the things I appreciate about your blog. Your coat is beautiful. I love the lapels with the stitching, all signs of exquisite taste and refinement. Excellent details on the blouse and skirt. I'd love to see the blouse again sometime to see the front. You look great!

Thanks, Ann! For me the details make the difference in fashion, so, when I can, I buy beautiful items made with care...and, you are right ! There are no photos of the front side of my blouse...I haven't realized!
DeleteYes please show us this lovely blouse from the front too, Dan, it looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt feels so good to wear light clothes, doesn't it? And I am glad you finally have the nice spring weather too.
A bit strange for me as a German to tell that to somebody living in Italy - as you know we Bavarians tends to take over Lake Garda and Northern Italy come spring ;-) We just love it there!
Have a nice and sunny day,
Annette | Lady of Style
I think I should show it again ! I How silly of me to forget taking a photo from the front!
DeleteYes it's strange to see how people can consider the same subject from different points of view! But the differences make the world more interesting!
Yes, this is indeed a beautiful coat. Works very well with your new scarf. I always want my coats to be at least the same length as my skirt/dress. Is that an old fashioned idea? Could very well be as it tooks me ages to get used to wearing black with brown or blue too. I suppose I am old fashioned as you obviously do not have that idea.
ReplyDeleteThe blouse and skirt are ever so nice. I am looking forward to your next photos of this outfit. Nice brands... Moschino, Twin-set... Yummy.

The fact is that in fashion almost everything is possible, nowadays! I often choose classic clothes, and I think that if I followed the old rules, ( as matching each other handbags and shoes ) my style would be definitely too old!
ReplyDeleteThe style of most brands I like, though apparently very classic, is quite innovative in fabrics, shapes and colours... Armani often combines blue and black...but I can assure that his blue and also the black are not the common blue and black...
Yes, I am experimenting new brands recently...just to wear a slightly different style...
I still have some trouble letting go of the old rules sometimes.
DeleteYour coat and bag really caught my eye. You do look very classic Italian : ) (This from a gal that lived briefly in Brescia.)
ReplyDeletebisous
Suzanne
...are you the gal who lived in Brescia?? ( if YES : ever thought to come back to Italy? If NO : have you ever been to Italy? )
ReplyDeleteAs someone said...Italy is a crazy country, but beautiful!
wow!!
ReplyDeletewanna see the details of the top more!!

I promise! ( but the front is very similar to the back...)
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung at last! It's really trying here, we have warm days and then cold. They are predicting snow over the weekend, just a dusting though. I really like the back of that top, very cute! And it goes so well with your new bag.
ReplyDeleteSpring! The most sweet season! But without snow!! I wish it will be just a dusting indeed!!
DeleteYou have layered delicately and without a bulky look. You are adorably beautiful in the coat. Thanks for modeling for us :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Dana! It 's nice to share different styles around the world...very ispiring!
DeleteIt's already growing too warm for spring layers, here. Booo. I miss them, and it's lovely to see you doing them so well. You look like a very sophisticated angel in your wonderful white coat. So pretty, the bag, everything. I'm with everyone else ... missing the blouse front. Nevermind, we got a picture of your beautiful smile!
ReplyDeleteOne day is warm and the following is quite cool again here! But that's spring ...
DeleteIt was silly of me not to take photos of the blouse front! Many thanks for your beautiful comment!
I love that scarf and bag!
ReplyDeleteHi Lis! And thanks...
DeleteSomeone recently asked me how I would sum up modern, yet classic, Italian fashion (as while I'm not Italian myself, I am married to a native son of Italy) and I pointed them towards your blog. You really are the living embodiment of the description to me, dear (stylish!) Dan.
ReplyDelete♥ Jessica
Wow, Jessica! How kind of you...Are you sure are talking of me??
DeleteMany thanks!!!
Dear Dan, your clothes are always of high quality, this i what i prefer for myself too. Love your coat and the back of your blouse is very lovely. I would like to see the blouse from the front.
