I was in the waiting room of a medical center the other day. As the place was well lighted and there was no one around ... why don't shoot for a post?? ( it's surprising how creative a blogger can be ... :-)
I was out from the morning that day so I was wearing a black and beige dress, a short cardigan, a beautiful red necklace ( a present from a dear friend )
and leather colour boots and bag ( for me a very versatile colour and easy to match )
Things went on longer than my husband and I had thought and it was dark when we went out
so could enjoy the sight of the city with Christmas lights.
That day was the anniversary of our marriage
so we decided to stay out for dinner ...
p.s.
I wasn't wearing an evening dress but I was happy all the same!
Great pics and cute bag! Kisses.

Thanks, Maria ...
DeleteHappy Anniversary Dan! Happy you could enjoy the lights and each other!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sue! We hadn't planned to go out for dinner and for that reason it has been an even more lovely evening ...
DeleteWonderful accessories, I too love the colour! Beautiful photographs, just the right atmosphere for a marriage celebration.
ReplyDeleteHi, Olga! You are right : the Christmas lights give the city a quite different atmosphere... very romantic!
DeleteI especially like the boots!!! Great. And indeed they go so well with your perfect bag.
ReplyDeleteClever idea to brighten up that black and white dress with the red necklace. Looking good girl.
The dress (although beautiful, for as far as I can see..... hint, hint) does not seem warm enough for winter, neither the pretty cardigan. Or perhaps your winters aren't that cold.
Happy anniversary. Big kiss to the both of you. Of course you are happy with him. LOL
Greetje
You are right, Greetje! The dress is not clearly visible .... but, believe me : the other photos were really too bad to be posted! I use to wear a silk dress underneath... and that allows me to wear light weight dresses also in winter.
ReplyDeleteIt was my 28th anniversary! A lot of years, aren't they?
p.s.
Have you recognised the necklace?
Oh yes I have recognized the necklace. Clever idea to wear it like that. See, that is something I lack. I buy these kind of things and wear it one way... the way I bought it. No fantasy to come up with other ways.
DeleteAnd 28 is a lot of years yes. Ron and I are together for 26 years now (as you know I am much older than you are hahaha). Married for 19 years. Like you I don't regret a single moment.
Dan, a Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. Your city`s Christmas lights are so lovely,as are you in your dress and short cardigan and those great boots and bag. Enjoy your season my dear.
ReplyDeleteIt was my 28th anniversary, Jill!! ( and it sounds so much time ... )
DeleteEvery street of Turin has a different Christmas decoration ... they are called art light ...
Those lights in the shapes of constellations are so cool, I am completely in awe! Your boots and your bag are lovely too. Happy anniversary! My hubby's birthday was yesterday, it must be a good week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Flo!
DeleteTwo so important celebrations in the same week? Nice! ( I love having something in common with my friends ... )
How lovely to have been married in December! I love how you accessorized your dress! You look so professional and stylish. The city lights are a wonder and I'm thrilled you shared them.
ReplyDeleteXO Dana
It is quite unusual to get married in December, isn't it? I remember that day there was a very thick fog in the afternoon ( my marriage was celebrated in the afternoon ) and both the fog and Christmas decorations made the city really unique!
DeleteCities change their look at Christmas time and little lights always add some magic ... Turin is so beautiful now ...
Happy Anniversary, Dan! Congratulations to you both! What a lovely tour of the streets there, and your leather pieces are as beautiful as you are ... so glad to see this wonderful post! Thank you!
ReplyDelete...And I am very happy to read your comment, thanks Jan! Turin is so beautiful with all those Christmas lights!
Delete(and I have just celebrated my 28th anniversary!!! )
Congratulations on 28 years of marriage Dan! The necklace is very pretty and adds a touch colour to your outfit. The Christmas lights look so romantic, perfect to celebrate your anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas my dear!
