Along the river ...

A grey cloudy day in the city can be boring and sad

or the perfect day for a walk along the river!

I am wearing  a blue dress on my yellow cardigan ( a touch of colour was needed in such a dreary day! )

not visible in the photos, my necklace has a small silver pendant in the shape of a  coffee bean ...

... and that reminds me ... there is a lovely cafe' just across the river!

coffee time!! ( unmissable break for me )

A moment of pleasure and the chance to enjoy the sight of canoes gliding on the  river

A last photo

and then it's time to go back toward the center of the city ...

  1. Your city centre square looks quite lovely.

I like the bold colour with the black.

    1. Turin looks a bit melancholic in cloudy days but is a beautiful city. I love its old building and walking in crowdy streets. It is the city where I attended university and for that reason it's full of dear memories ...

  4. That cardigan looks terrific on the blue dress. Smart idea to use a small belt for figure flattering silhouette.
Love the coffeebean. As you can understand. Thank you for posing in the cold (I saw SNOW!). Must have been terribly cold. But now I could clearly see all the items you were wearing, including the right colour.
Again: love the cardigan. (Why don't they suit me???)
The photos of the buildings.... ahh... well... Italy... you can never go wrong.

    1. It was very cold that day, but I said to Vincenzo I needed some photos without the coat especially for Greetje! I knew you would have liked to see the dress and every detail ...
When I saw the coffeebean pendant in a shop window I thought ... it was very me!
      p.s.
Are you sure that cardigans don't suit you?

    2. Well.. so far I have not seen many cardigans which look good on me. Some shorter ones or tight at the waist. My figure is an inverted triangle, which means broad shoulders, big bosom, small hips, no bum. (exaggerated). And for carigans you need bum and hips to give them some shape. Usually they make me look like a stick. With a big knob haha

  7. Yellow is perfect colour to bright up a dull gloomy day. And worn over blue it looks simply fantastic. The necklace is a cute little piece of jewelry.

  9. It looks so romantic. You look to be the only person out and about. The yellow sweater is just the right touch for a dreary day and you made the look shine even more.
