I need a sunny place...

Two weeks ago, Sue of A Colourful Canvas, posed with a ( very lovely ) party dress outdoors, last week Greetje of No fear of fashion faced the January's wind to get the photos for her post

So, this week I walked I in search  of a sunny  place to take sharp photos

a warm spot, as I am wearing a silk dress (  above another one )

And ... here it is the place!

An old building recently beatifully restored with a special care to conserve the traces of past times. They are my favourite! I would love having my home in one of these buildings ...

You can never know ... maybe in the future .... Anyway, do you like my green dress? This year I have seen a lot of green clothes in shops here ...

( and in my closet I found a green gemstone necklace )

Liviana Conti

It has a  loose shape ... ( a bit tooo much on me? ) and it's a bit different from those I usually wear ...

A loose, green dress and my dreams! That's all for today, dears ...

  1. A very atmospheric place, with its own character and past. Lovely dress, the colour is of a very nice shade. And I love your necklace, such a beauty!

  3. I used to have a green dress that shade, I loved it. One nice thing about most greens is they can be worn year round. To more sunny days and the hope that winter doesn't overstay it's welcome!

  4. SUN! The old building is a beautiful setting. And with the sun shining, I can imagine that spring is on it's way...we wish. :)

Yes, your outdoor photos turned out brilliantly Dan! You look lovely. I especially like the neckline of your dress! It's true we most often see you in a slimmer silhouette. Have you considered belting this dress with a soft suede belt?

    1. I had to take photos inside more than once recently, but they weren't too sharp! ( I should say that they were photos of a really poor quality! ) but last week we had a couple of warm days which convinced me to go out for the shooting! I am not brave to face low temperatures as you are!!
I will try the dress with a soft belt! Thanks for the advice...

  6. Oh... I love green.... this loose dress is fun. Yes it is different from what you normally wear, but not that different. I was looking at a loose dress the other day as well. Didn't buy it but bought my stepdaughter some clothes instead (gosh I am beginning to become a real mum haha).
The necklace, lace underskirt and the shoes add interest to the dress. I like that very much. Well styled.
And taking photos in the sunshine eh??? I envy your for that.
The building is indeed beautiful, but hey... whatever you possess, there is always something better. Better to look at less fortunate things and people LOL.

    1. You are wise! There is always something better of what you own ... and besides, I know I am very lucky as there is nothing I need at the moment... but I like the idea of changing ... Vincenzo says I am always on the move!
      p.s.
Now we are having wonderful sunny days, but I am quite sure it will pour in April! ( here Spring is generally the worst season, but I have many extra umbrellas!! :-)

  7. I love green, this dress is so pretty on you Dan, looks silky and comfortable too like a pine green. I have been wearing more of it myself. I love the old architecture! Looks so neat, I think it is part of the past they need to keep around, parts of history, old buildings.
I wish there was the sun peaking out, it is grey and cold here in the South, US.
    stop by when you can

  8. Dan,
I do love the green dress! Love the color and hue, the shape and the drape.
Hmm. Almost a poem there's. Oops.
I also admire the layering. The white dress is perfect underneath the green one!

  14. I don´t like green color... I mean on dress. I look sick in this color.o) But you probably find nice shade of green which can work even with me. Dress looks nice and comfortable for walks and discovering beeautiful secluded places.
