Relaxing post!

Have you ever had  a stressful week in which things  take the wrong way?
I had!

Nothing serious, luckily. But many tiny, annoying  events which made me exclame: " welcome weekend!! "

Everyone is affected by stress, of course, and people just differ in what they trigger it and how they respond.

Well, my way to respond to stress was letting thoughts flow without control while strolling around the park  last Saturday ...

I share these photos and I wish they can have a relaxing effect on those of you who happened to have a busy week!

Have you got  a personal remedy  against stress??

P.s.
I was wearing my camel wool coat on the dress and jacket. We are having cold days ... low temperatures always stress me!
:-)

  1. I guess you'll have to visit me in the summer then : )

I usually destress with exercise. It is the cure-all for most everything. If it were warm enough I'd go for a long walk with my pug, but since it is -10 C right now that isn't happening. I ran on the treadmill instead. Not as much fun, but in the end it keeps the blood pumping and my energy level up.

Hope you have a much better week!

  2. Stress is inevitable.
Each one makes you front as you can.
Your formula seems great to me.
It is a very nice Park and you're very smart.
Do not look a dead woman, more like a very pretty lady.

  3. Stress is such an annoyance. I know exactly what you mean. This weekend was HIGH stress on the meter reader. At one point, I thought I was going to boiler over. If it were not for a dear friend who helped calm me down, I probably would have boiled over.

Great look as always, Dan. I hope this week is much brighter for you.

  6. In spite of stressful week you look wonderful, as pretty and elegant as always! Love your necklace and patterned tights. The place you went to for a relaxing walk looks nice and indeed calming. The best thing for me to do when stressed is to go to some beautiful nature place just as this one.

    1. I was in a public park where I often go with my old dog. Looking at the photos it seems to be very bigger than in real! In any case it is a quiet place which has a relaxing effect on me ....

  8. Hello Lovely lady
I do love the camel coat in the previous post, and this cream and black outfit looks lovely on you. You have a wonderful smile as well. I think we have the same patternedd tights, love it for additional flare to the outfit.
Walking, swimming are ways to help destress. Going to the park is a lovely idea, and usually petting my pups helps me as well!

  9. I have only seen you in relaxed situations and cannot imagine you being stressed. I think your way of dealing with it, is wonderful. So mature. I just start ranting and cursing. Really terrible and off-putting. Not ladylike at all. Which is why I try to prevent getting stressed and why I admire you for being so mature, so like a lady.
Your ensemble is just as ladylike. With or without coat. (Thank you for taking pictures without the coat. Which must have given you stress as it was cold. What an irony haha.)

    1. Things not always go as they should and at work you have sometimes to face problems which haven't got a solution ...( at least in my job! )
You see a mature attitude in me, but I am not sure I have it ... am I a lady? Well, and Italian writer said : one, no one and 100.000 are the ways people see you, so, which one reflects your real being? ( very philosophical ... and I am not sure at all I have been able to translate!! )

I really find it soooo hard to shoot without a coat in winter...but, this is a blogger's life! :-)

    2. I agree with your writer... we all have a lot of different aspects to our being. We don't have just one dimension. I like philosophers.

  10. Dan, I hope this week is proving less stressful than last. A walk in the park does it for me too but I never look as stylish as you do in that oh so classic camel coat.

    1. This is a busy time at work for me, Jill... that's why I have to find relaxing ways to spend my ( very little ) spare time.

A classic coat is something you never get bored of!

  11. Sometimes just a change of scenery is all I need, a trip to a nearby town I haven't been to in a while usually does the trip. I agree that the cold weather doesn't help matters any. I can't get over how green the grass looks in these photos for the time of year it is!

    1. Oh Flo, I haven't noticed that, but, yes, the grass is really green ! Probably because we haven't had snow yet ... This is one of the things that I love about blogging : it makes you see the world through someone else's eye!

  12. Good day, dan. Stress is a dominate issue for me; or rather anxiety. You, however, appear to be a much calmer soul. Your pictures are very relaxing indeed. Your lovely smile and pulled together ensembles always lure me from my gloom. I am so brightened by your sunny photos, and the yellow door(s) in the background catch my eye. But the glamorous 'you' steals the show. Hugs!

    1. Thanks, Dana for your lovely comment! The park you see in the photos is my dog's favourite! ( ( because he can smell in the grass and meet friends ) . I love going with him there, especially after a busy week at work!!

  13. Oh yes, absolutely, I get those teeny weeny combination of things that add up every now and then. When stressed, I retreat. I need to be alone. I read or listen to music. I write in my journal--things that can't be in my blog. Then I go dancing. I do Zumba. It releases pent up emotions and stress. That really works for me. Love your camel coat! Born and raised in a tropical country, I do enjoy the low temperature. But God knows for how long! Hope you're having a better week :)

  14. You are such an elegant, chic dresser - and you look very relaxed, I just love it! A walk in a park, woods or beach, or a spa day are always an easy way to relax and recharge. You live in a beautiful place - the architecture, the nature around you I'm sure helping to relieve the stress after a hard day. And yes, we probably all have them from time to time...

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a lovely comment. You smile beautifully yourself, too! :) xxx

  17. Your remedy is mine too. I love to walk through nature or stroll through the city after a stressfull day. Unfortunately at present the bad weather prevents me from staying outdoors.
Your beautiful pics show a spring like weather and a wonderful surrounding. You look so cute dear!
Have a fine time and a relaxing weekend
