Visiting Asti


Though I love the city of Turin,
it happens that an event makes it overcrowded.


So, a fortnight ago I decided to spend the day in  Asti.


It is not far from where I live, not too big, quiet and tidy.


Ancient how I like.


The perfect place for a relaxing tour!


 I found so much beauty to admire!


Besides, it was Sunday and no shopping was possible there!


I know that  it may sound like a downside, 
but,
nothing could distract me from the sightseeing.


I really enjoyed the day ...

    Looks like you had perfect sightseeing weather as well! I'm not big on crowds either, I don't blame you for wanting to get away from it.

      It has been a summery day with high temperatures and I spent a very nice day. There are times ( just a few, luckily ) that it's better staying away from Turin!! :-)

    Asti looks like a very nice town! Plus, I love visiting towns and cities on Sundays in Europe as you can really focus on the city without being distracted by shopping... ;-)

    I love visiting cities when it's quiet, and you can make the time for sightseeing without the crowds! Asti seems like a nice place. xxx

    You were very wise to stay away from Turin last monday. I wish I had known that there was a Juventus party there. I got lost in the crowds. Luckely it was peaceful and beautiful on tuesday. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful city!

      Asti is very smaller than Turin but cute. I needed a quiet day, away from the crowd.
