Visiting Asti

Though I love the city of Turin,
it happens that an event makes it overcrowded.

So, a fortnight ago I decided to spend the day in  Asti.

It is not far from where I live, not too big, quiet and tidy.

Ancient how I like.

The perfect place for a relaxing tour!

I found so much beauty to admire!

Besides, it was Sunday and no shopping was possible there!

I know that  it may sound like a downside,
but,
nothing could distract me from the sightseeing.

I really enjoyed the day ...

  1. Looks like you had perfect sightseeing weather as well! I'm not big on crowds either, I don't blame you for wanting to get away from it.

    1. It has been a summery day with high temperatures and I spent a very nice day. There are times ( just a few, luckily ) that it's better staying away from Turin!! :-)

  5. You were very wise to stay away from Turin last monday. I wish I had known that there was a Juventus party there. I got lost in the crowds. Luckely it was peaceful and beautiful on tuesday. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful city!

  7. Thank you for the little tour dear Dan! What a charming town! I like that they are closed on Sundays, time to relax and enjoy the day for everyone, including the shop employees.

You look lovely in casual elegance!

    1. Asti is very smaller than Turin but cute. I needed a quiet day, away from the crowd.
I am sure you would like it ...
