Richly-printed trousers

In winter almost every inside space with  sufficient light  represents an inviting place for a shooting.
(  for me just a few things are worse than freezing temperatures )

Just like this office.
With big windows and quite strong artificial lights !!

Do you like richly-printed trousers? I found this pair at a very discounted price and I fell  in love with  both the floral print  and the shape  ( neihter too tight nor too large ).
Well, to be honest, I have to admit that ... I very easily fall in love with  discounted, high-quality items!
Quickly  decided that, due to their light colour,  those trousers were exactly what I would have loved to wear in spring too...

They seemed to match to my bag

and even to my old cashmere cardigan.

Is  there any unmissable new piece in your closet after the end-of-the-season sales?  For me they are a temptation! But sometimes when at home  I realize that the item I have just bought  isn't really my taste ...

Not in this case anyway...I am still  satisfied with the purchase...

  1. These separates look great together Dan. I love the trousers and at a very discounted price, I'm not surprised you snapped them up. I agree, it's too cold for outdoor photo shoots....roll on spring.

  2. Oh yeah, it still happens with me - I fall for something discounted and buy it and then, after some time, I think "what did I buy it for?" :) Yours are very cool printed pants, no wonder you couldn't resist them

  4. I buy a lot of clothes in charity shops (unwanted clothes donated by people and all the proceeds go to the charity). They only cost a few pounds so I often buy items that don't fit properly or look good on me - I then give them back so that they can sell them again.

I must admit that I do not have any printed trousers but yours are the style I like - not too tight or wide.

    1. Where I live we don' t have those charity shops but, of course, many other opportunities to buy clothes...temptations are everywhere!

      Have a good day!

  5. I can understand why you fell in love with those trousers, Dan. I kind of like printed trousers, but unfortunately I look awful in them. You are looking very elegant in those light surroundings. It's not easy to find the right location in winter. Our inside location, is on our rented garage, but even that is becoming too cold for outfit photos ... xxx

  6. Cute pants, Dan! I love the floral print. I suppose you could wear them in nearly every season. They bring a hint of spring in this cold winter. What a cool and well designed office. A perfect place for a foto shooting.

  9. The trousers are ever so nice. I love it with those high booties. The whole look is outstanding. I presume you are also going to wear it with a dark top. That bag has me drooling... what a beauty.
And that office with the big windows... that is what I always tell Ron to look for. Nice and warm.

    1. Yes the trousers should go nicely also with a dark top. I think I could experiment them with blue or green too...
Big windows and a lot of light make the perfect office!

  10. I am a sucker for a great sale, Dan! But in my defense, there are times that it ends up being an item that I love and can't live without! Like I bet these trousers will be for you! They are absolutely fabulous, and I really like how you styled them. Nancy (my 60's model) has a pair sorta like these, but I don't think I've styled them with a beige sweater----such a great idea!

    1. The rich print of my trousers required a plain top. I can hardly resist to a well-made,very-discounted item and ... there are so many of them around!!

  13. I can see why you ended up getting the pants, they are so pretty! And with the discount, they would be hard to resist. I'm guilty of buying things on sale that didn't work out, but I guess that's better than paying full price and not being happy!

  16. These trousers are exactly what I like too Dan. I love that they're not too loose but also not too fitted either - feminine without being too tight. The pattern is also lovely and will indeed work so well when spring comes along.
We're being blasted with rain and gales today, so I've been huddled up under my raincoat longing for some sunshine.
Wishing you a great week x

    1. A richly-printed piece of clothing can make the outfit! You only need to add plain accessories...
