Thank you

Last week I asked for some help.
I couldn't find a good translation from Italian and many of you suggested me the correct one....
( I should have said rubber or waxed cotton instead of gum ).

I know I have much to learn yet in order to make my English-speaking  fluent and I sometimes think that my followers are very kind to keep on reading my posts...

So today I want to thank you for your patience and  for your help to improve my English ...

To my look now!
I am wearing a linen cardigan with a blue pencil skirt.
The cardigan has been made adding a metallic fibre
for a most creased look...

No matters how long you iron  the cardigan : you can never ever produce a different look!!
Funny, isn't it ?
It's a sort of...shabby chic style perhaps...

In spring with sudden  changings of weather and temperatures,  I need smart ( and stylish ) ideas to stay comfortable!
Today it's chilly here and I am wearing leggings to keep my legs warm ...

Have you ever worn  leggings with a pencil skirt?
I added my small handbag for a most grown-up style.

Afternoon at home today and some time for taking photos on the balcony where my plants are blooming!

The sun is shining inside me despite the rainy day...

  2. Your English is very good indeed Dan, I speak a little French but couldn't write a blog in it. I haven't worn a pencil skirt for about thirty years and I've never worn leggings because my legs are not good but you pull this look off well. Your azaleas are lovely! xx

  3. You ask to improve your English, I would like to communicate with you in Italian, a language that I find wonderful, and so close to mine, Catalan. Today you wear a very nice look, the jacket is beautiful, the pencil skirts I love and those leggings underneath make me think of our friend Greetje. She always tells me that you have influenced her a lot, today I think she has influenced you a little bit.

If you like, you can comment in Italian and I will answer using my native language

  4. You are doing absolutely fine, Dan, and one can only improve by practicing, which you do. English isn't my native language either, and I keep learning with every post. I love your terrace, and how you pulled that look together with the pencil skirt and the leggings, which I'd never have thought of. I don't often wear a pencil skirt, although I have a couple of them, as part of a suit. xxx

  9. I can understand you perfectly. And as I make many mistakes myself, who am I to judge?
Your outfit is clever (warm legs) and unique (in a good way). You have added interest to the outfit with the patterned leggings. And no, I have never worn leggings with a pencil skirt
Lovely little bag by the way.
I see that you have put plants everywhere, from your front door to the stairs. Why not indeed.
