Raincoat part two ( or the wall )

This is my second raincoat : it is blue and made from gum.
( which I think is a  bad translation...can you help me? )

It has a polkadots print in the inside
and it's perfect in rainy and windy days ...
Spring is when we have unstable weather here.

To say hello to the new season I  wore my bag with flowers.

Max Mara

Do you remember my flats? They have been a good purchase!
I only hope not to become too used to flat shoes ... high heels are sooooo nice!

The other title of the post is "The wall"
You know, in my opinion there is a delicate beauty in ruined buildings
and they have many stories to tell.

I can feel the echo of past time.
Sometimes on the old walls  lights and shadows produce pleasant effects.

Spring it's here.  But I  still have to put away most of  my winter stuff.  I am a wise girl and  want to be sure I won't need them anymore until autumn. Have you already done the hard job?

Trussardi

For the time being I have taken  out some cotton sweaters in  soft  colours.

And my gray and white skirt...

I hope you had a joyful   first week of spring!

  1. I love a good navy blue raincoat, but I've still to find the perfect one. I do love a ruined building and beautiful old walls. Have been photographing similar walls last weekend. I've started putting away my warmest winter clothes, but everybody keeps saying I'm mad. I love your skirt and the o-bag is so pretty! xxx

  2. I really like that style of raincoat, I used to have one similar. As for gum--I would say here it would be vinyl or rubber.

I love the old buildings as backdrops, they have so much character and texture. I was just noticing some parts of an old steel mill not far from my house that I might have to go photograph. Might be incentive for a new blog post! ;)

  3. Lovely raincoat. And I notice a blue Obag now.... well, well, well. That is a bronze one, a burgundy one and a blue one haha. But who is counting, right? It is very fresh with the blue flowers inside.
Your shoes maybe flat but they are very good. And modern. Your sweater is my favourite this time. Such a quality piece, so elegant. Enjoy the sun. We are having high temperatures and sunshine too. Yay.

    1. Ha ha ... you are right! The number of my O' Bags is increasing! ( four at the moment, you forgot the white one )
They opened shops in the outlet villages and the lower price is a more reason to buy ...

  6. Ha ha, gum! Made me think of chewing gum! I think it's vinyl. I love how you wear your fishnet tights. So elegant. Spring has finally come to the Netherlands a bit. Thank god, I've had it with cold weather.

  9. I think your mac is probably vinyl or rubber, a perfect garment for this time of year as it's not too heavy. LOVE your skirt...is it taffeta? It looks like a stiff fabric in your beautiful pictures. We are enjoying sunshine in the UK too. x

    1. I just checked the label:my skirt is polyester and cotton. It is probably the first one that gives the stiff look!
      P.s.
Hurray for the sunshining !! :-)

  10. Dan,
Love the soft chenille (?) sweater and plaid skirt , classic yet on point / Adore the coat, too, maybe it is like a polyurethane or rubber, or waxed cotton ? Chic- whatever it is. I really enjoy the light and shadow of the pictures , adding so much depth and artistic appeal!

  11. I like your rainy-day look. It's very stylish and the colors are perfect for early spring. Your outfits are always so very classy, but never boring. I love that your base wardrobe contains moostly neutral colors and that you add punch with quirky accessories and sometimes colors. Brava! Gum (gomma) is rubber.

  13. This is one item that I don't have in my wardrobe. Considering I live in the rainy UK this even surprises me! I must get one. I like the quirky Polka dots and the coat is not overly bright like some raincoats.I'm still lusting after one of those O Bags too!

    1. It sounds really surprising that you haven't got a raincoat! I wear mine often and have more than one... I go out early in the morning and I feel comfortable if I wear it on a light weight jacket ...

  14. I love your style! A lovely post, fantastic backdrop for your photoshoot! Perfect raincoat for April showers! I have a navy blue raincoat, but my polka dots are outside. I bought it at my daughter's eco boutique in Seattle and will wear it on my blog this month.

    Happy spring!
