At the end ...

... and, at the end, Mr.Bangio has gone

I had to open my hand, and let him go

I took him to the vet and, in my arms, little by little he got asleep

And, silently, died.

I did it for love, just for love
with broken heart.

All of a sudden I felt the frost of winter ...

  3. I am so sorry, Daniela.

Right now I'm sitting next to my cat -- my sweet girl has had several vet visits and many tests the last few days and is not eating now. I hope we will be as brave as you and Mr. Bangio.

    1. Well, that first comment of mine is not going to help you... On the other hand I feel no words can help you really. No doubt Vincenzo will do what he can, but such grief will only ease by living through it, by time passing. You are in my heart. As you know.
