We are having an extraordinary hot weather for the season. Nice! But it also has negative sides...
Am I supposed to change clothes in my wardrobe and then, after a short time, doing the job again??
I definitely won't!!
I had just taken out warm sweaters and all my coats and now light weight stuff's stored!
All I can do is ... grin and bear it!
and wearing something which doesn't make me feel like a penguin in a sunny desert!!
Have you ever matched the top of a sweatshirt to a classic pen skirt?
Today I have given it a chance!
Then I shoot
In the same place where I took this funny photo of Greetje a fourtnight ago
Now I am trustfully waiting to wear my winter clothings.
As the signboard says, when you have a problem ...
have a little faith and it will all work out!!
Well, you look great! Love the coat, top, & skirt! And the bag, of course!!!ReplyDelete
Love the shot of Greetje!
Hi, Andrea! Greetje could be a very good actress!!Delete
Having seen how elegant and beautiful you are, I totally agree with Greetje that Italian women are stunning!ReplyDelete
Well, to be honest, nowadays in Italy people often look casual, but, yes you can also see people elegantly dressed ... especially in big cities!Delete
Ha ha! LOVE that photo of Greetje. She is such a clown : )ReplyDelete
You are looking all kinds of sophisticated and elegant per usual.
Greetje is really unique!Delete
I love fashion and simple, good quality clothes always are very my taste ...
Super cute and comfy look. I really love the sweater. xxReplyDelete
happy day dear! <3
My today's look is something between casual ( the top )and more classic ( the pen skirt ) ... I am glad that you like!Delete
Again, I love that coat!ReplyDelete
Have a great day,
And, again, thank you for commenting!Delete
Love the floral print of your top, looks like a painting! Elegant as always, Dan! The long earrings are very pretty and the photo of your friend is very funny, such a great capture!ReplyDelete
I very often make my jewelry and those gemstones earrings ( not well visible, I am afraid! ) are not an exception... I am glad that you like them!ReplyDelete
I think the top is perfect for the warmer weather since it's 3/4 length sleeves!! I love when the weather is warmer because the legs can be bare!! jodieReplyDelete
3/4 is the perfect length for sleeves, especially in transition seasons ... well, I also prefer it in winter!!Delete
You look divine in your Moschino and Armani bag, but I do agree this weather here too in NY, has been warm!ReplyDelete
What od do with our closets but rearrange and rearrange again ! A good work out, I suppose?
Love the fun photo of Greeje !
Yes, it does all work out... eventually :)
Hi Elle! I love sunny fall days, but we have had a sudden and extreme change of the temperatures which is quite annoying when you have just arranged your wintery closet!!Delete
I am having a similar issue here with my wardrobe, it's way warmer than it should be normally. It does make it hard. I love that top, so pretty! And that photo of Greetje is terrific, so funny.ReplyDelete
Greetje is a very special person! And has a good sense of humor too!!Delete
If anyone wonders "why is Greetje looking like this?" ... the elevator is an art object and the doors close when you press a button. Oh well. .. I suppose people expect anything from me LOL.ReplyDelete
Your ensemble looks perfect. The only thing I don't get is the jumpsuit bit. As a jumpsuit is a one-piece item with legs. Or do mean the material? Neoprene? Like a diving suit?
I am wearing these sweaters now as well and I think they are fine for this weather (15/16 degrees). I even wear something warmer underneath it when it gets colder.
Is this sweater a new purchase? New as.. since my visit? Really nice. Good choice with the bag.
Your picture is spectacular ...Delete
You are right about the top... I didn't explain clearly. It is cotton and is very similar to the upper part of a gym suit. Like a gym suit it is comfortable and easy to wear and, of course it has a casual look...the italian word is "felpa" but I don't exactly know how to translate it in English!Delete
In the week following your visit, I went to the MM outlet again ( you know I can't stay away from the
place long!! ) . I tryed the green top that you purchased but it wasn't good on me. Of course I couldn't go home without a little present for having been working a full week!! And so ...
I think the translation of felpa is sweatshirt. Just change it in your post.Delete
Did you buy the black jumper yet? With the little purple flowers at the front?
What a sweet post. You look amazing in the pencil skirt, dan. I always enjoy your infectious smile. If you ever lose your sense of optimism, it certainly never shows :)ReplyDelete
Hi, dear Dana!Delete
I always try to catch the best side of life ... when I can ...
Dan, you always so elegant. I love the coat, and I love your shirt, you have a really wonderful print. Greetje photo is superb.ReplyDelete
You like me joking around don't you? LOLDelete
Yes, it is a very good photo ... And I took it only by chance!!Delete
What a pretty look. The skirt and shoes are great.ReplyDelete
Thank you, I am glad that you like ...Delete
