New and old


Les Copains


Let's start with the new : my coat.The end of the season is the best time for purchases, and  I could buy this piece for the third part od its initial price ... 


Short, checked, black and white, egg shape.
I have a fancy for checks!


And It goes with my brown trousers!

Then comes the old : can you believe that my sweater Is about ten years old?

Old also my necklace. 
Pearls generally add a very classic accent , but this is not the case...

Old also my bag, but quality items can last very long!


I took the photos at Eataly:a sort of supermarket which sells only selected food. You can also eat there, drink a beer or just a cup of coffee or taste  an ice-cream.

    Everything is beautiful! I love your new coat! Sounds like you got a great deal! Your sweater is very nice; no one will think it's 10 years old. And the bag is gorgeous! I love the fun necklace, too!

      The winter is long here, and so it's better to owe more than one coat. Different shapes and colours make cold days a bit ... less boring!

      In italy we have a saying : the more you spend, the less you spend ( someting like this in English )...
      I have old clothes which I keep on wearing and they still look new!

      Yes, check coats never go out of fashion! I have seen them in many winter collections...Your step mom did a good purchase too!

    Great purchase this coat!! I love it. We would look good together, you in this black and white beauty and me in my fuchsia MM egg shaped coat. Seeing the Eataly building makes me want to jump in a plane to you. It has the same colour as your jumper. Indeed good quality lasts.

    Love the coat, very nice! I too love end of season sales. That sweater is very nice, always good when something lasts a long time. I did notice that it matched the building very well!

      Once I had a check coat which I worn very often, so, when I saw this one, I immediately though ... that it had to come at home with me!!

    Your new coat is so grate, Dan!
    It overlaid how collar knit collar and coat is so cool!!!
    There are small Eataly in a department store at Tokyo.
    I would love to go there soon!

    Love the cropped trousers and grey boots!!! Perfetto! I have lots of bags but one of my favourites is Coccinelle. Sturdy and really good value for money :)
