I spent also a third day in Verona ( see previous posts ) but I don't want to indulge too much on the subject, and so here I am back at home...
Do you like purple? Today I am wearing three shades of the colour : for my cardigan, velvet blouse and skirt.
Is it too much?
Here it is a close up of my bag ... Not new, but exactly the same colour!
Apart from that, I am wearing my bracelet with charms
which I have just finished as a present for Christmas
( I always give myself a present for Christmas, do you? )
and a necklace ( husband present ).
Luckily among my stuff I didn't find any pair of purple earrings.
Otherwise probably today ... I wouldn't have resisted to wear them too!
:-)
Until next week dears!
Dan . I also love the color purple velvet if , like me even more .
ReplyDeleteYour bag is gorgeous.
Furla always models that crave .
Beautiful your bracelet with Christmas pendants. And the medallion is just the embellishment you need your top purple.
We feel very good new year .
kisses
Purple and velvet go so well together and the silver jewelry brightens up the outfit ...
DeleteYou can never have too much purple! You look lovely AND cosy in this!!x
ReplyDeleteNice to read that you agree!!
DeleteHave a wonderful day ...
The purple looks GREAT on you! And, no, it's not too much! :-) Furla has amazing bags! Yours is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI am a real fan of bags and Furla is one of my favourite brands!
DeleteDan , you wear purple so well ,wear as much as you like. Aren't you clever making your own charm bracelet. Also the necklace from your husband is really great, I can see it worn many ways.
ReplyDeleteIt took me years to complete the bracelet with charms! I wanted to add only special ones... which had a meaning to me, and, at the end, I finished my job!
DeleteLovely! And looks warm too. I love your bracelet, and yes, I buy myself something for Christmas. That necklace is unique as well, I really like the color combination and how it reflects the light.
ReplyDeleteI am proud of how I combine the charms in the bracelet ... it is now the result of happy memories!
DeleteI am glad that you like...thanks, Magdalena!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful outfit. Love your style.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Suenu!
DeleteI think your outfit shadows the colors of your purse---so it's perfect!! jodie
ReplyDeleteYes, it seems as though I bought the bag in the same colour to watch it ! ( but of course I didn't )
DeleteYou look so classy. Love the bag!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you like ...
DeleteYour necklace and the braclet are amazing! To combine the different shades of purple is a good choise. It's a lovely outfit Dan.

Choose a colour and wear it in different shades is something I always like...
DeleteThis is such a royal colour! Looks amazing! And the necklace I noticed in one of your previous posts, wanted to have a closer look at it and here it is! Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have been wearing often the necklace from when I received it ... it's very my taste !
DeleteBeautiful. All of it. I adore purple. Haven't got much of it, only a very good rich velvet purple jacket which I do not know how to style (terrible isn't it?). But I do love the colour. And it suits you very well. The pendant necklace you got gives the outfit an arty/modern vibe. Well done. Now.... the questions.. those sleeves... are they attached to the top? Or did you add another purple item to the outfit? And what shoes or boots were you wearing with it?
ReplyDeleteGreetje
Having a jacket in your favourite colour and don't know how to style it sound really terrible! Keep it and sooner or later you will find something to make an outfit really your taste...It sometimes happened to me...
DeleteIn the photos I am wearing a purple cardigan underneath my velvet top and my brown boots (the ones you bought too ) : they are a key piece!
A beautiful appearance, elegant and formal. I love the colors and I love accessories.
ReplyDeleteI am often wearing purle at the moment , a quite unusual colour for me ...
DeletePurple is so lovely and elegant on you. I really admire your crafting skills and patience in waiting for the perfect charms to complete your beautiful bracelet. Unfortunately, patience is one quality I am in short supply of!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, but I have so rarely been wearing purple in the past, but I agree that is a beautiful colour!
DeleteI had no hurry at all to complete the bracelet and besides, had a very clear idea about how it should have been ... I call it ... being stubborn!! :-)
I love purple on you Dan, it is certainly your color! What a lovely necklace too. I am a fan of purple myself, a rich color.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Turning Heads Tuesday!
